According to Football Market website, Manchester United want to sell controversial English winger Mason Greenwood for 30 million euros, and Juventus are interested in him but are only willing to pay a transfer fee of 15 million.

In 2019-20 and 2020-21, Mason Greenwood was a talented rising star in the Red Devils' squad, but then videos and photos circulating on social media showed the England winger allegedly abusing and controlling others during the 2021-22 season.

Greenwood was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of rape and assault, and in October of that year he was also charged with attempted rape, assault causing actual bodily harm, and acts of control and coercion. Despite widespread coverage on social media, the charges were eventually dropped and Mason Greenwood was dumped by Manchester United to Getafe.

Juventus director Giuntoli is increasingly convinced that Mason Greenwood can join the club this summer, according to football market website reporter Daniel Longo, who appreciates the English winger's technical qualities, and the relatively low cost of bringing in Greenwood given what is happening off the pitch.

The 22-year-old is set to return to Old Trafford this summer, but United have no intention of keeping the notorious player and have set an asking price of €30 million. Juventus want to pay half of the transfer fee to sign him, especially since his contract with Manchester United expires in 2025.

According to the football market website, in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final between Marseille and Atalanta at home in the early hours of this morning, Juventus will focus on the performance of four midfielders.

Dutch midfielder Koopmeiners has been on the Bianconeri's radar all the time, with sporting director Giuntoli seeing him as a prime target to strengthen their midfield. However, given Atalanta's asking price of more than €50 million, Juve will first need to sell to raise funds.

Juve are also keeping an eye on the true blue and black Brazilian midfielder Ederson, who is seen more as a replacement for Locatelli in front of the defence than a box-to-box midfielder (to put Locatelli back in his original position) and his valuation will be significantly lower than Koopmeiners.

Then there is Morocco international Azeddin Onahi, who impressed at the World Cup in Qatar and joined Marseille from Angers for a transfer fee of €8 million in January 2023.

Finally, Cameroonian midfielder Jean Onana, born in 2000, joined Marseille on loan from Besiktas in January but did not qualify for the Europa League. Onana is a muscular defensive midfielder with similar characteristics to Kessie, another midfielder that Giuntoli admires.

On Thursday local time, Dutch legend Edgar Davies returned to Vinovo to watch the Juventus U19 team train and reunite with his old teammate Montero.

Bianconeri Under-19 boss Montero gave Davies a warm welcome at the Vinovo training base, and the two joked around on the training ground, with Davies giving advice to the young players during training.

Davies spent seven years at Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 235 appearances and winning three Serie A titles and other trophies.
