After working for 14 years at the end of 2001, a vigorous state-owned enterprise restructuring was carried out by individuals to "buy out the length of service", the unit terminated the labor contract, laid off, I was 34 years old that year.
After completing the layoff procedures, I was reluctant to give up, full of nostalgia for the past, and full of helplessness and confusion about the future life. Without a job, without a job, I sighed, I was depressed, and I was in a deep predicament.

The hardships and tiredness of being laid off, only I know, and that unbearable past made me deeply feel the cruelty of social changes, which made me extremely sad.
The past went away with the wind, and he dedicated his youth to the company, but in the end he was laid off and went home. At this moment, I think of my former colleagues and the bits and pieces of the past that I used to work for.
When I first went to work, the unit production technology was updated, the assembly line was expanded, and young people who needed high Chinese went out to study, these good things naturally let me catch up, and successively went to Nanjing, Yancheng, Mengcheng and other places to study, and naturally became the technical backbone of the unit after completing the study, studied hard in the work, studied hard, obtained the intermediate certificate of worker technology, and increased the salary by one level.
At that time, I was young and studious, diligent and hard-working, the unit recommended me to learn electrical technology, I did not know anything about electrical technology to meet the challenge, not afraid of difficulties, bold and careful, humbly learn from the old comrades to ask for advice, and many times to participate in the city and county electric power departments of business training and study, has obtained the labor and electric power departments issued by the qualification certificate, electrician license, network access certificate, etc.
In charge of electricity work, I have been awarded the advanced individual in electricity management, this is the first time I have won the award in my work, and I am very happy.
At the beginning of 1993, the housing was divided, and fortunately caught the last train of the welfare housing division, and the housing reform was implemented at the end of the year.
After moving into the new house, the then manager came to visit the workers who moved into the new house and said: This year, every working family will buy a color TV set and watch the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in their own home.
At the end of the year, each employee was given a bonus of more than 1,000 yuan, which is really hard to imagine what it means for the workers with a monthly salary of dozens of yuan at that time, and I still miss the old manager.
In 2000, under the call of "three to the countryside", I was dispatched by the unit to work in the townships of Huaji, Xieji, and Tupo, which are 50 kilometers away from the county seat.
The main work is to go to the villages and households, provide agricultural technical guidance services for farmers, and publicize and promote agricultural assistance information in the bazaar.
Although the working environment is poor and life is hard, it has not shaken my confidence in work.
Even so, in 2001, he was still laid off and put in a simple and rude situation. Although the company has reduced its staff, the irony and absurdity are that the company has not improved its efficiency, and after a few years of stumbling, the company has collapsed.
Now I am compensated to make up for the efforts I have made for the enterprise and the pain I have endured in the restructuring, which is not only an affirmation of my hard work, but also the pursuit of fairness, and the best comfort for me.
