On May 2, law enforcement officers of the Pingcheng District Urban Management Bureau of Datong City found that there were dens of illegal liquefied gas in a vacant lot on the west side of Jiayu Community, Yongtai Street, Pingcheng District. After on-site investigation, the sales point sold liquefied gas without permission, which had serious safety risks. A total of 105 liquefied gas cylinders were found to be illegally stored at the scene, and once a leak or explosion occurred, the consequences would be unimaginable. In addition, it was also found that the use of non-special vehicles for transportation and illegal gas dumping tools posed a serious threat to the safety of surrounding residents.
The Pingcheng District Urban Administration Bureau immediately reported to the Datong Municipal Urban Administration Bureau, and contacted the Pingcheng District Public Security Department and the law enforcement department of the Datong Municipal Transportation Bureau. All departments dealt with the black den in accordance with laws and regulations. Through the joint action of multiple departments, the den was successfully investigated and dealt with, eliminating potential safety hazards and protecting the safety of residents.
The safety of gas production is a matter for thousands of households. This multi-departmental joint law enforcement action has effectively cracked down on the illegal storage of gas and effectively protected the safety of the lives and property of the people in the jurisdiction. Next, the gas special class of Pingcheng District Urban Administration will continue to maintain a high-pressure situation, strengthen departmental linkage, ban "black dens" in accordance with the law, and standardize the order of the gas market. At the same time, we will carry out special rectification actions for liquefied gas enterprises, implement the security inspection system with bottles, and ensure the safety and orderliness of the gas market in Pingcheng District.
