Chongqing Rail Transit Line 15 is an east-west urban rail express line under construction in Chongqing, which is the first urban rail express line in Chongqing, with a maximum running speed of 140 km/h, starting from Zengjia Station in the west and reaching Liangjiang Film and Television City Station in the east. The line will be constructed in phases one and two phases, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2026.
During the May Day holiday, the workers of the Chongqing Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Hunan high-speed railway stuck to their posts and were busy with construction to ensure that the project was completed with quality and quantity.
With a total length of 269.521 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the main line of the Chongqing-Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Hunan high-speed railway is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network planned by the national medium and long-term railway network, and is a channel for high-speed passenger exchanges between the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the Haixi urban agglomeration.
