In order to convey the party's various policies to benefit the people in a timely manner, effectively protect the masses' right to know, participate, express and supervise, and bring the relationship between cadres and the masses closer. On April 27, the five townships held a joint villager information meeting in the second quarter of 2024. Yang Yanping, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and deputy county magistrate, attended and delivered a speech.
At the meeting, the person in charge of the five townships preached the spirit of the relevant documents, summarized and reviewed the work achievements of the township in 2023 and conveyed the work ideas for 2024; the relevant persons in charge of the county labor office, the county animal husbandry center, the county vocational school, and the county drug control office respectively explained the relevant policies and drug hazards of labor service awards, breeding rewards and subsidies, and skill training; and the responsible persons of the townships respectively explained the rewards and subsidies for planting and breeding, food, etc., as well as the policies and regulations on the establishment of provincial-level demonstration villages, ethnic and religious affairs, medical insurance, safe production, and dropout control and education. In the interactive session, the representatives of the masses spoke enthusiastically and asked about relevant policies, and the atmosphere of the venue was lively and warm. After the meeting, vegetable seedlings and promotional materials were distributed on the spot, and labor service companies were organized to carry out labor service promotion.
In his concluding speech, Yang Yanping affirmed the significance of the conference and hoped that the masses would strengthen their confidence, enhance the endogenous development momentum, and continue to increase income steadily. He stressed that the party committees and governments of the five townships should consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, continue to promote the adjustment of the agricultural structure, vigorously develop the characteristic breeding industry, increase the transfer of labor services, build a provincial-level demonstration village with high quality, firmly hold the bottom line of compulsory education, and promote various key tasks to make the work of the five townships go to a higher level.
More than 1,400 people participated in the event, including the relevant persons in charge of the county labor service office, the county animal husbandry center, the county drug control office, the county vocational school, the heads of the five townships and the cadres of the rural community, the members of the village work team, and the representatives of the masses in each village.
