"Since I joined the work in 2001, I have witnessed the upgrading of the production line of Haier refrigerator factory, but new equipment, new processes and new methods have also brought new problems, and many new equipment will have some design defects in actual operation. Hou Guoping pointed to the three screws on the U-shell production line and said that the U-shell production line could not solve the 90-degree folding problem of all models of refrigerators, which was easy to produce waste, so they increased the pressure knife and switched with these three screws according to the production model, which filled the defects of the original equipment design and completely solved the problem of this production line, and the product defect rate was greatly reduced, and the quality and output were significantly improved.

"Quality first" is an important working principle of Hou Guoping, and it is also the working principle of Haier people. "Even if there is a flaw in the appearance of the refrigerator door the size of a pen tip, the product must be scrapped, and there is no room for sloppiness.
