Under the light, Hou Guoping is debugging the manipulator operation with his workers, and the entire production process of the workshop is smooth and uninterrupted.
Go to the workshop half an hour in advance every morning, carefully check the equipment in the workshop, and make a day's work arrangement before everyone goes to work, this habit Hou Guoping has maintained for more than 20 years. For more than 20 years, he has devoted almost all of his time to the technological innovation of the enterprise.
"Since I joined the work in 2001, I have witnessed the upgrading of the production line of Haier refrigerator factory, but new equipment, new processes and new methods have also brought new problems, and many new equipment will have some design defects in actual operation. Hou Guoping pointed to the three screws on the U-shell production line and said that the U-shell production line could not solve the 90-degree folding problem of all models of refrigerators, which was easy to produce waste, so they increased the pressure knife and switched with these three screws according to the production model, which filled the defects of the original equipment design and completely solved the problem of this production line, and the product defect rate was greatly reduced, and the quality and output were significantly improved.
"Quality first" is an important working principle of Hou Guoping, and it is also the working principle of Haier people. "Even if there is a flaw in the appearance of the refrigerator door the size of a pen tip, the product must be scrapped, and there is no room for sloppiness.
Based on this, Hou Guoping has been deeply involved in the production of enterprise pick-up, pendants, pretreatment, and sewage treatment, from the powder spraying squad leader, to the sheet metal line length, and then to the door hair line length, 23 years, has always been rooted in the production line, many seemingly simple transformations, he led the workers to work for dozens of hours in a row and repeatedly debugged, and the success achieved after N tests, the operation of the new equipment was more optimized.
As a technical leader, Hou Guoping has never forgotten to update his knowledge, driven by the "Hou Guoping Model Worker Studio" named after him, since 2016, employees have learned technology and practiced skills, creating a team with strong learning ability, strong innovation ability and high business quality. As the leader of the team, Hou Guoping has to go deep into each production line every day to understand what technical problems everyone has encountered, how to solve them, or what resources he needs to provide to solve them......
"I do work overtime for a long time, I rarely have time to take care of my family, but overtime is not active or passive, but unconscious, I always want to do everything perfectly, and before I know it, I work overtime until late, many of my colleagues are like me, they want to do everything well. Hou Guoping said with a smile.
As of 2023, Hou Guoping's model worker studio has solved an average of 137 difficult bottlenecks on the enterprise site every year, improved 82 technological innovations, trained 94 talents, and saved tens of millions of production costs for enterprises. It is precisely because of the "technical maniac" like Hou Guoping who work day and night to develop, explore and debug, that the company's production lines can continue to innovate, improve production capacity and ensure production safety.
Taking off the gloves, we noticed that Hou Guoping's hands were covered with calluses, but they were still so strong and powerful.
With his hands, he helped Haier refrigerators increase from more than 1,000 units per day in 2001 to more than 7,000 units today.
