Since April this year, in order to promote the micro-transformation of the elderly in difficulty, the Wufang Volunteer Federation of Suiping County has accurately assessed the living environment, physical condition, self-care ability and other elements of the elderly through key surveys and field visits. In accordance with the principles of adaptability, universality and diversity, focusing on the functional needs of the elderly such as safety and health, focusing on the four aspects of "toilet and bathing safety, home environment improvement, indoor walking convenience, and assistive devices in place", the transformation is carried out, and the elderly families with difficulty in walking are provided with road hardening, handrail installation, ground anti-skid treatment, rain installation, room ceiling, cabinet installation and other age-appropriate micro-transformation services.

Up to now, the Suiping County Wufang Volunteer Federation has provided home renovation for 25 elderly households in difficulty in Shizhaipu Town and Station Town, and sent 13 wardrobes, beds, 25 sets of rice and flour oil, etc., with a total value of 100,000 yuan.
In the next step, the Suiping County Wufang Volunteer Federation will insist on carrying out micro-transformation for the elderly in difficulty, actively explore and implement the micro-transformation model for the elderly in difficulty, and continue to implement the micro-transformation of 80 families of the elderly in difficulty, effectively improve the home living environment of the elderly in difficulty, and continuously enhance the sense of happiness, gain and security of the elderly in difficulty.
