Promote the handover of the remains of the 11th batch of martyrs of the Korean Volunteers
Since 2014, it has welcomed back the remains and related relics of 938 volunteer martyrs in South Korea for ten consecutive years, and successfully confirmed the identities and relatives of 20 volunteer martyrs who have been welcomed back.
At present, we are working with relevant departments to take the initiative to negotiate with the ROK side to promote the handover of the remains of the 11th batch of martyrs of the ROK volunteers. After it is confirmed, it will be announced to the public in a timely manner.
The level of regular pensions for martyrs' families has been raised again
The State has once again raised the level of regular pensions for the survivors of martyrs.
The China Veterans Care Foundation coordinated a fund of 20 million yuan to carry out the special action of "Paying Tribute to the Martyrs and Caring for the Families of the Martyrs" to help the families of martyrs with special living difficulties and provide academic assistance for the children of martyrs.
Promote the protection and management of overseas martyrs' facilities
According to statistics, the mainland has more than 300 martyrs' memorial facilities in more than 50 countries (regions) outside the mainland, and more than 110,000 people have been buried.
At present, it has completed the repair and protection of nearly 20 memorial facilities in more than 10 countries, including the martyrs' cemeteries of the North Korean Volunteers in Hichang, Kaesong, Anju, Jiangdong and Thuan'an, the martyrs' cemetery in Megengnian in Ethiopia, the memorial park of the Tanzan-Zambia Railway, the cemetery of Chinese experts in Sudan, the cemetery of Chinese experts in Burkina Faso, the Chinese martyrs' cemeteries in Chuankhouang, Mongsai and Namo in Laos, and the memorial facilities for the memorial facilities of the Chinese Expeditionary Force in Myitkyina, Myanmar.
