In eight months, a total of 710 articles and micro-headlines were published. The total number of readers is 4.17 million, the total number of fans is 6,400, and the total income is 5,000 yuan. The year is only four months away, and the goal is only half achieved.
Why write on headlines?
On September 1 last year, I sent my grandson to first grade. At the school gate, the grandson said to his teacher, this is my grandfather, he is a writer.
I'm a little embarrassed to say that I didn't write because I had worked a lot of work decades before I retired.
The child said this because he asked me what kind of "home" I was, and if I said that I was retired, I was afraid that he would not understand, so I casually said "sit at home". Today, when my grandson said this, I still have to take it seriously. So I downloaded "Today's Headlines" on the same day and started writing in Toutiao.
Writing this article today is not to show profits, let alone "Versailles". This is not something to boast about.
I mainly want to summarize the creative lessons of the past eight months, talk about how to adapt to the headlines, increase income, and share it with novice friends, so that everyone can avoid detours, improve income, and make money.

The first lesson is not to use headlines as a tool to make money, but as mood essays.
It's very difficult to make money on Toutiao, and the first few months are all "dime-cents", and you treat "Toutiao" as a big circle of friends, and you're relieved. At first, I really wanted to make money in Toutiao, but I wrote a lot in the first two months, but I just split it. Later, I regarded Toutiao as a big circle of friends, and I usually encountered unhappy things, some of my experiences and life insights, and I could find a place to vent. Therefore, there are thousands of headline writers, all of them are panicked, just for the broken silver taels, but the broken silver taels are too difficult to find, which can only relieve your thousands of melancholy and become your mood essays to share.
The second lesson is, don't use headlines as a stage for educating others.
Don't be "self-righteous" and always want to promote some philosophy of life, then you will be disappointed. From the beginning to the present, I have often put a lot of effort into writing a lot of big articles on life philosophy, but readers are not interested and don't buy it, and the headlines don't give traffic, the reading volume can't go up, and the income is not good. This is the lesson of "self-righteousness". The third lesson is: write more micro-headlines first, and then write articles slowly. If you are a novice, don't write articles, you can write micro-headlines every day, and when you have more than 1,000 fans, as long as it is enough for 300 words, and it is not time-sensitive, you will post articles, not micro-headlines.
I once said according to the master, writing micro headlines has little income and high income from writing articles, so I write articles and post articles every day, and the result is "the blind man lights the lamp, and the wax is in vain." "I posted a lot of articles, but the number of readings was very small, and the income was at most one or two yuan.
The fourth lesson is that the more fans, the more impressions Toutiao will give you.
The big V with a lot of fans only wrote the words "It's going to rain", and he gave hundreds of thousands of impressions. If it were us, we would have written "thunder and earthquake in winter, rain and snow in summer", and no one would show you the amount.
Therefore, the first task of novice creators is not to make money but to accumulate followers. And the shortcut to accumulating fans is to post micro headlines every day and post fewer articles.
The fifth lesson is that there is no shortcut to accumulating powder, and "mutual relations" is not a broad road.
Novices have a misunderstanding, that is, they spend a lot of time to "follow" others first, and then write a text such as "about must be returned", thinking that in this way they can quickly attract fans. It can't be said that this road is impassable, but it is by no means a shortcut, one by one by relying on "mutual relations" to increase fans, it is too difficult, too slow, and too stupid. The fastest shortcut to increase followers is to post micro headlines every day, and when the number of fans rises, you will naturally have more impressions, and the number of readings will increase greatly.
The sixth lesson is that the explosion is a small probability event.
Many of the people who teach you how to write explosive articles are mostly nonsense. I wrote it myself for eight months and published more than 700 articles, most of which were published like "mud in water", and most of them were read in the hundreds, not many in the thousands, and tens of thousands were even rarer. The probability of more than 700 articles, micro headlines, and tens of thousands of reads is 15 small explosive articles with more than 10,000 readings, 30 medium explosive articles with more than 50,000 readings, and 80 articles to produce a big explosive article with more than 100,000 readings. Only five of my 700 articles have more than 500,000 views, and it's like buying a lottery ticket and winning the jackpot, relying on luck.
