——Xie Jia Junior High School held a youth art show to welcome the May Fourth struggle
In this green season, we ushered in the May Fourth Youth Day with special historical significance. In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the history of May Fourth, inherit the spirit of May Fourth, and continue the blood of youth, on the afternoon of April 30, Xiejia Junior High School held a grand performance of "Welcoming the May Fourth Struggle Youth" to encourage young students to shoulder the heavy responsibilities of the times and strive for their own youth.
At the beginning of the event, the school leader gave an opening speech in an affectionate tone, explaining in detail the historical background, significance and impact of the May Fourth Movement. He stressed that the May Fourth Movement was not only an important event in China's modern history, but also a magnificent epic of Chinese youth's pursuit of truth, progress, national independence, and people's happiness. He called on the vast number of young students to remember history, cherish the hard-won happy life, and take the May Fourth spirit as the guide to actively devote themselves to the practice of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Immediately afterwards, the wonderful theatrical performance kicked off. Through songs, dances, recitations and other forms, the students showed the demeanor and vitality of contemporary young people. With the enthusiasm and talent of their youth, they paid tribute to the spirit of May Fourth and made an oath of struggle for the future.
Finally, the vice principal of the school put forward his ardent hopes in the summary of the event. He emphasized that to inherit the spirit of May Fourth and continue the blood of youth, we must dare to struggle, dare to innovate, and dare to take responsibility. He hoped that the vast number of young students would establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life, and values, constantly improve their overall quality and ability level, and write a sound and impressive life. At the same time, he also warned the students that youth is wonderful because of struggle, and with struggle, youth will fly, and with hard work, youth will be beautiful.
This activity not only allowed the students to have an in-depth understanding of the history and significance of the May Fourth Movement, but also felt the vitality and passion of youth, and strengthened their determination to pursue their dreams and strive for youth. We are convinced that the students will study hard to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with higher morale and pragmatic actions.
