On April 30, Beijing time, FIBA FIBA officially announced the 2024 FIBA Hall of Fame induction list, and Chinese women's basketball star Miao Lijie was selected, becoming the fourth Chinese basketball player to be selected after Mu Zuoyun, Zheng Haixia and Yao Ming, and the two NBA celebrities Reggie Miller and Peja Stojakovic were also selected.

The 43-year-old Miao Lijie became the fourth Chinese basketball player to be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame, after Mou Zuoyun, Zheng Haixia and Yao Ming.

Miao Lijie is one of the representatives of the golden generation of Chinese women's basketball, she was born on June 3, 1981 in Binxian County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, was selected for the Chinese women's national basketball team in November 1997, and joined the WNBA Sacramento Monarchs in 2005.

Miao Lijie was a player with comprehensive skills and outstanding scoring ability, she and Chen Nan were once known as the "two elders of the Chinese women's basketball team", and Miao Lijie also had the title of "Chinese female Jordan". Miao Lijie helped the Chinese women's basketball team win the 6th place in the 2002 World Championships, the gold medal in the 2002 Asian Games, and the champion in the 2004 Asian Championships.
