From April 26 to 28, 2024, the "2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the Trauma Medicine Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange in Health Care and the First Chinese Trauma Treatment Case Competition" was held in Hangzhou. It is also the only unit in Shaoyang City to enter the finals, and won the Excellence Award in this competition.
The purpose of this competition is to improve the level of clinical treatment research of trauma medicine in China, carry out the exchange and discussion of new concepts, new technologies and new methods, improve the ability of medical practitioners in the treatment of trauma cases, and promote the innovation and development of medical technology. The competition was hosted by the Trauma Medicine Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange in Health Care and co-organized by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University. The competition requirements are mainly "severe trauma, difficult cases, rare cases, and innovative cases", and more than 70 excellent trauma cases from county-level medical institutions across the country have been collected, and 20 excellent cases have been selected for the final competition.
At the final scene, Su Caijie, deputy director and deputy chief physician of the Trauma Center of Longhui County People's Hospital, combined with PPT, analyzed and explained the whole process, shared the diagnosis and treatment process, summary and thinking of critically ill patients, and told the story of a critically ill patient with multiple injuries who suffered sudden cardiac arrest, and was successfully rescued by gastrointestinal surgery, thoracic surgery, and spine surgery, and finally recovered and discharged.
Through this competition, the hospital will pay more attention to strengthening the cultivation of trauma first aid level ability, and enhance the resilience and teamwork ability of the trauma first aid team in the face of emergencies. Build a solid lifeline for serious trauma and put the safety and health of the people first.
The Trauma Center of Longhui County People's Hospital was officially established on April 24, 2023, and by March 31, 2024, the trauma center has been launched more than 260 times and more than 90 emergency general anesthesia surgeries, of which the oldest age of the patients treated is 89 years old, and the youngest age is 4 years old. Zhu Feng, deputy director of the trauma center, said that Longhui County People's Hospital will take this competition as an opportunity, and the trauma center will continue to check and fill gaps in the future work, continuously optimize the process, and go all out to improve the treatment capacity.
