During the Reporting Period, the Company actively improved its ESG management system and set up a Sustainable Development Committee, which is responsible for conducting research and making recommendations on the Company's sustainable development and ESG work, coordinating the practice management of core issues such as environmental, social and corporate governance and the implementation of sustainable development strategic objectives, so as to ensure that ESG factors are incorporated into the Company's decision-making and business activities.

The report pointed out that in 2017, Meijin Energy began to develop hydrogen energy, and as a demonstration and leading enterprise for the development of traditional energy and hydrogen energy industry, Meijin Energy continued to consolidate the foundation for the development of its main business, give full play to the advantages of the whole hydrogen energy industry chain, and actively make due contributions to the adjustment and transformation and upgrading of the national energy structure.

Meijin Energy is firmly committed to the goal of achieving carbon neutrality in its own operations and part of its value chain emissions by 2040, and has identified 9 core emission reduction measures, and has made steady progress in carbon reduction. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are an important starting point for the implementation of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the transportation field, and Meijin Energy actively promotes the replacement of internal and upstream and downstream transportation vehicles. As of December 31, 2023, Meijin Energy operated a total of 1,092 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, with a cumulative safe driving mileage of about 15.6 million kilometers, a cumulative reduction of about 6.3 million liters of fuel use, and a reduction of about 17,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent.
As of December 31, 2023, Meijin Energy has reclaimed a total of 3,948 hectares of land, giving the sores a new look and repainting the "green waters and green mountains".

During the reporting period, Meijin Energy improved the quality management system of each section, comprehensively controlled the sampling, inspection process, sample preservation and supervision and management, further standardized the order and behavior of the inspection of incoming raw materials and outgoing products, and realized effective control of product inspection quality. During the reporting period, Qingdao Meijin and Feichi Technology, subsidiaries of the hydrogen energy sector, completed 36 and 22 internal trainings respectively, covering a total of 642 people.
Under the guidance of the national "double carbon" goal, hydrogen energy has been written into the government report again, Meijin Energy has continuously promoted the new quality productivity of the enterprise, and the development of the hydrogen energy industry chain has been comprehensively accelerated. Feichi Technology, a subsidiary of Meijin Energy, has been in the forefront of domestic car companies in terms of production and sales of fuel cell vehicles for many years, with a market share of 21% in 2023; During the reporting period, the ignition oven of Guizhou Meijin's "coal-coke-hydrogen" comprehensive utilization demonstration project and the first phase of Meijin hydrogen energy headquarters base project were capped.
