The May Fourth Movement gave birth to the great May Fourth spirit with patriotism, progress, democracy, and science as its main contents, and its core was the spirit of patriotism. In order to fully demonstrate the connotation of the May Fourth spirit in the new era and the style of contemporary youth, the calligraphy and painting contest of "Inheriting the Aspirations of Youth and the Style of Hanmo Calligraphy" was launched to cast the soul of the May Fourth patriotic spirit and promote the beauty of Chinese calligraphy and painting.

Event content

Calligraphy Group Activity Requirements:

1. Entries should focus on the May Fourth spirit of "patriotism, progress, democracy, and science", and advocate healthy and progressive ancient and modern poems, couplets, essays, and fu;

2. The entries are required to have complete writing content, reasonable layout layout, no typos, missing words, and ambiguous words;

3. This activity is hard pen calligraphy, the font format is not limited, seal script, cursive script should be attached to the commentary, and the works do not need to be framed;

4. The writing carrier can use letter paper, graph paper, white paper, etc. Please do not use a copybook to trace directly, and the word limit is not less than two crosses.

Painting Group Activity Requirements:

1. It is necessary to highlight the spirit of the youth of the times, reflect the positive and bold innovative qualities of contemporary youth, and truly reflect the value and connotation of the May Fourth spirit;

2. There is no restriction on the form of painting expression and painting tools, and the contestants can choose by themselves;

3. The entries are novel in concept, appropriate in meaning, and have strong visual effects.

Requirements

1. Entries should be written or painted in strict accordance with the corresponding requirements;

2. The submitted works must be created by individuals, and shall not plagiarize or steal other people's works or network materials.

3. Mark personal information (unit/school + name + contact information) on the back of the entry, and submit it to Room 309 on the 3rd floor of the government before May 15 (each contestant is limited to one entry);

4. After the entries are submitted, they will be scored and selected by the judges.
