At 8 a.m. on April 30, 2024, a total of 30 Dongwang volunteers from Gansu Zhangye People's Art Troupe, Ganzhou Danxin Classroom and service personnel gathered in Wanjia Convenience Market, Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, and worked hand in hand with the Dancing Life Team, the Jianguo Freedom Team, and the Chen Hong Dance Team to bring a unique theatrical performance to the people.
At 9:30 a.m., the event officially kicked off, and the host of the program appeared in full costume, clarified the significance of the performance, and extended high respect and best wishes to all the workers present. The Dancing Life team ignited the atmosphere of the scene with the passionate opening dance "Into the New Era", which was dancing and exciting. The dance "Dongfang Hong" performed by Dongwang volunteers is even more eye-catching, they are dressed in red dance costumes, holding long red silk, and their waist is tied with a red waist drum, their performance not only shows a beautiful red dance, but also expresses the deep nostalgia and reverence of people in the new era for Chairman Mao. The dance "Homeland" brought by the Chen Hong Dance Team is not inferior, and the poetry recitation "Praise of the Laborers" by the Founding Freedom Team is sonorous and powerful, the voice is loud, closely related to the theme, and praises the laborers with sincere and moving recitations. The reciter's words of praise to the laborers made the laborers full of confidence and won warm applause from the audience. The programs of each team have their own characteristics and are wonderful, and the applause from the audience is one after another, which is deeply loved by the audience. In particular, the large-scale sitcom "Long March" brought by Dongwang volunteers was deeply touching and tear-jerking. There are also more than a dozen programs such as the small chorus "Commissar Mao is with us" and the musical allegro "Praise the 20th National Congress" in turn, adding a strong festive atmosphere to the Wanjia convenience market and making the audience immersed in the sea of joy and unable to extricate themselves. At the end, the event ended successfully with the loud singing of the chorus "Ode to the Motherland" and "Song of Patriotic Volunteers".
