On April 29, the construction project of "Lingnan Lvmei First Village" in Huacheng Village, Huashan Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou was officially launched on the Lvmei Guangdong public service platform. The project will give full play to the exemplary role of "Party Building Red" leading "ecological green", mobilize party members and people from all walks of life to participate in the ecological construction of Lumei Guangdong, help the greening and beautification of Huadu with practical actions, and promote Huacheng Village from green to beautiful, from beauty to wealth, and realize the transformation of green and beautiful economic value.
The project is located in Huacheng Village, Huashan Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, with convenient transportation, high green coverage, rich ecological landscape resources of mountains, rivers, forests and pastoral landscapes, and characteristic cultural resources such as the former site of the establishment of the Red Fourth Division Conference and the former site of the county government in Huaxian County, and has a good foundation for green and beautiful construction. Based on the background advantage, Huashan Town points to the construction goal of "Lingnan Green Beauty First Village", and focuses on building Huacheng Village into a "Five Beautiful Flower City" with ecological beauty of water pastoral, beautiful rural living life, beautiful economy and prosperous industry, beautiful local culture, and picturesque and harmonious rural scenery.

On March 17, the Social Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee organized and launched the first phase of the tree planting activity in Huacheng Village, and at the ceremony, Cui Jianjun, Minister of the Social Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, proposed to promote the construction of "Lingnan Lumei First Village" in Huacheng Village with "three changes" and "three combinations", which aroused enthusiastic responses.
On April 2, Huashan Town continued to carry out the second phase of tree planting activities in Huacheng Village. A total of about 450 people participated in the first and second phases of the activity, and a total of 1,093 native suitable trees such as yellow bark, osmanthus, podocarpus, loquat, kapok, phoenix wood, and palace pink bauhinia were planted.
Huashan Town and Huacheng Village respectively set up special work teams at the same level, deployed and promoted at a high level, and drew a new blueprint for green and beautiful villages. Huashan Town sent capable forces to participate in the construction work full-time, and strengthened the organization, leadership and strength guarantee for the construction of "Lingnan Lumei First Village". In order to give full play to the exemplary role of "Party Building Red" in leading "ecological green", broaden the ways for party members and people from all walks of life to participate in the ecological construction of Lumei Guangdong, and help the greening and beautification of Huadu with practical actions, under the guidance of the Forestry Bureau of Guangdong Province, the People's Government of Huashan Town, together with Nanfang Press Media Group and Guangdong Rural Revitalization Foundation, officially launched the "Lingnan Lumei First Village" construction project in Huacheng Village, Huashan Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City on the public service platform of Lumei Guangdong.
The project mainly focuses on the main entrance of Huacheng Village, Huacheng Village Avenue and part of the village road, and the Sanhe-Dong'an area of Huacheng Village to carry out the construction of green beauty, and plans to build 1 main entrance landscape, 5.5 kilometers of Bauhinia Green Corridor, 2 green and beautiful vegetable parks, 9 green and beautiful small orchards, 3 green and beautiful homes, 6 green and beautiful small parks, 3 and 3 green and beautiful small ponds, 5 green and beautiful courtyards, and 1 km of green and beautiful rivers. The total amount of donations planned for the project is RMB 2,741,200. The fundraising period is from April 28 to July 31, 2024, and all the funds raised will be used for the "Lingnan Lumei First Village" project in Huacheng Village.
