The "May Day" holiday is approaching, and the flower landscape of Tiananmen Square is stunningly unveiled. More than 280,000 flowers such as super petunias, peacock grass, African impatiens, and begonias are blooming one after another, and the east and west sides of Tiananmen Square are full of beautiful flowers, and the square is filled with a festive and warm festival atmosphere.
On both sides of Tiananmen Square, the "auspicious Ruyi" molded flower beds with beautiful meanings are beautiful and widely loved by tourists. In order to highlight the relief effect of the "auspicious clouds" pattern of the ground molded flower bed, the technicians adjusted the terrain by raising the height of the planting bed, and finely arranged the slope of the planting bed, so that the overall site transitioned smoothly from the center to the edge, which not only ensured the landscape effect, but also improved the drainage function of the site.
In order to present the best landscape effect of "blooming flowers when they appear", the maintenance team has been preparing since November last year. From seed selection to seedling raising, and then to potted planting, the final product is released from the nursery after precise flowering period control, and it takes 120 days of careful care to ensure that the flowers bloom colorfully.
In addition, the Chang'an Avenue is also full of flowers, which is exceptionally beautiful. Behind the beautiful scenery, the maintenance team adopts innovative maintenance technical measures such as trial planting of evergreen broad-leaved trees and laying green moss grass to improve the plant growth environment and increase the survival rate of plants.
During the "May Day" period, the maintenance team will arrange a 24-hour special class to do a good job in the maintenance of flowers and lawns along Tiananmen Square and Chang'an Avenue, and make every effort to ensure a good landscape effect during the festival.
