From the beginning of March to the end of April this year, with the approval of the higher cultural relics department, the Zhongshan Cemetery Administration organized the first comprehensive renovation of the stele hall building of the Ming Tomb. In accordance with the principle of "not changing the original state" and "minimal intervention", the repair focused on the roof, wall, wood frame, indoor and outdoor floors and other diseased parts, and repaired them, fundamentally solved the problems of roof leakage and wood structure instability, and provided a good storage space and protective environment for the inscription cultural relics such as the Tang and Song Dynasty monuments in Zhilong, and effectively eliminated the potential safety hazards of cultural relics. In the next step, the Zhongshan Cemetery Administration also plans to systematically restore the stone carvings of the Ming Tomb, including the stele hall and inscriptions, and continue to promote the holistic, systematic and preventive protection of Zhongshan's historical and cultural heritage.

The name of the stele hall originates from the stele in the palace. In July 2023, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage announced the "List of the First Batch of Ancient Famous Monuments and Inscriptions", including 1658 Tong (Fang) inscriptions, cliff stone carvings, and the Nanjing Ming Filial Piety Mausoleum "Great Ming Filial Piety Mausoleum Divine Meritorious Virtue" monument and "Zhilong Tang and Song Dynasty" monuments were successfully selected.

Recently, with the completion of the renovation project of the Ming Filial Piety Tombstone Palace, the theme cultural exhibition of "Zhilong Tang and Song Dynasty - Memories of the Vicissitudes of Filial Piety Tombstone" was also exhibited outside the site of the Monument Palace, which was the first time to interpret the history and culture of the Ming Filial Piety Tomb for tourists in detail.

The content of the exhibition includes 12 graphic layouts, such as "Qing Chengming System, Kangqian Rule", "Kangxi Southern Tour, Respecting the Tomb of Filial Piety", "Kangxi Imperial Pen Governing the Long Tang and Song Dynasties", "Qianlong Relic Style, Six Confessions of Filial Piety Tomb", "Qianlong Relic Style, Opening the Foundation Customization", "Qianlong Relic Style, Inscription Poems and Monuments", etc., which comprehensively introduce the history of the Ming Filial Piety Mausoleum and the inscriptions inside and outside the stele hall.
