The "May Day" holiday is approaching, and a classic antique car journey is about to begin. As one of the important activities of the 2024 Shanghai Automobile Culture Festival, the classic and antique cars with a history of 100 years in the Shanghai Automobile Museum will form a parade team to shuttle through the core area of Jiading New Town, country parks and key villages for rural tourism, breaking the boundaries of space and culture, and making car culture truly enter the public's field of vision.
First stop: Yuanxiang Lake, Jiading New Town
At 9:00 on May 1, a static display of antique cars will be staged on the shore of Yuanxiang Lake. Here, the public can not only witness the unique style of antique cars, but also leave good memories in front of the themed photo booth. At 10 o'clock, with the classic antique car parade of Yuanxiang Cultural Ring and the certificate awarding ceremony of "Romantic Parade for Love" in Jiading District, the parade team will also depart, cruising along Taxiu Road, Yumin South Road, Baiyin Road and Yuanxianghu Road.
Parade display time: 9:00-11:00 on May 1
Second stop: Xiangyue Huating Resort
(No. 518, Shuangzhu Road, Huating Town)
From 13:30 to 15:30 on May 1, the parade will come to the Xiangyue Huating Resort in Huating Town. Here, a selection of 3 antique cars will be paraded around the picturesque park, and the public can enjoy the idyllic scenery while also experiencing the charm of antique cars up close. After the parade, there will also be display points in the lawn area and at the end of the parade, where citizens and tourists can take photos with the antique cars and learn about the history of the antique cars.

Third stop: Jiabei Country Park
(No. 5051 Huyi Highway)
From 14:00 to 17:00 on May 1 and on May 2, the parade will move to Jiabei Country Park. Here, 5 selected antique cars will shuttle through the beautiful scenery of the park, and the public can also appreciate the style of antique cars while enjoying the flowers. In addition, a static display area for antique cars will also be set up on the lawn of Gate 1 in the park, so that citizens and tourists can experience the strong car culture.
Cruise time: 13:00-14:00 on May 1
Exhibition time: 14:00-17:00 on May 1 (5 cars), 09:30-17:00 on May 2 (3 cars)
