During the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Skyworth Automobile officially announced that its Skyworth EV6 II supercharged version model was launched, and the new car offers three configurations to choose from, with an official guide price range of 139,800 yuan-169,800 yuan.
The exterior of the new car has not changed, the front face follows the design style of the current model, the grille adopts a closed design, the style appears more rounded, the headlight cluster adopts a blackened treatment, and the interior integrates a matrix LED light source, the style is more refined.
The lower bumper features a three-section design with vertically arranged air deflectors on both sides of the fenders to improve aerodynamics, and a large trapezoidal air intake at the bottom, which is decorated with a banner structure to accentuate the front end.
In terms of side styling, the roof is slightly curved, equipped with shark fins and luggage racks to bring a certain sense of power, the waistline adopts a through-line design to embellish the layering of the side of the body, and the wheel arches and side skirts are designed with raised black trim plates, and double five-spoke wheels give the body a more burly look.
In terms of tail styling, the roof is equipped with a small-sized spoiler and high-mounted brake lights, the blackened taillight cluster adopts a through-type design, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear, and the vertical layout of the fog lamps on both sides of the fenders is also equipped with a relatively rough style; the trapezoidal license plate frame area adopts a concave design, which embellishes the three-dimensional sense of the rear of the car; the lower surround part is equipped with a silver-gray scuff plate, which further enhances the sense of class.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4720/1908/1696mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2800mm, positioning it as a mid-size SUV.
The interior is also unchanged, with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, a floating centre display, and an electronic gear knob. The center console is decorated with a large area of wood-grain style trim to highlight the sense of class, and the air conditioning outlet adopts a through-type design, which embellishes the layering of the center console.
In terms of equipment, the new car comes standard with tire pressure display, automatic parking, hill start assist, hill descent, reversing radar, reversing camera, one-button start, LED headlights, rear seat backrest angle adjustment/proportional reclining, heat pump air conditioning, and rear exhaust air vents.
In terms of power, the new car offers two range options of 430 km and 520 km, equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 170 kW and 250 kW respectively, with a peak torque of 310 Nm and 350 Nm respectively, a 0-100 acceleration time of 7.9 seconds and 7.6 seconds respectively, and a battery pack capacity of 54.75 kWh and 65.71 kWh respectively. The 520km range version uses 800V technology, and it only takes 10 minutes and 30 seconds to replenish the battery from 10% to 80%.
