Rongxi Waterfall Scenic Area is located at the southeast foot of Yuanbaoshan National Forest Park, 162 kilometers away from Liuzhou City, 43 kilometers away from Rongshui County, and about 400 meters above sea level. The name of Rongxi Waterfall originated more than 200 years ago, and it was the name of the Miao people's respected ancestor at that time, the Miao King - Jia Laoxiang, for the beautiful waterfall in the Miao settlement. The word "Rongxi" not only praises the waterfall scenery of the mountains and mountains, the peaks and the ghostly workmanship, but also has the beautiful meaning of blessing the Miao family for generations to be thriving and vigorous like a majestic waterfall flowing down.
It is understood that Rongxi Waterfall is famous for its beautiful scenery, towering green mountains and long green water. As early as 2003, when it was not opened to traffic, many tourists from other places came here. However, because foreign tourists did not understand Miao at that time, they saw that Rongxi Waterfall was a waterfall with three waters, so they named it Sanyou Waterfall and spread it to the outside world. Now, standing at a new historical starting point, in order to further inherit and carry forward the traditional culture of the Miao nationality and take on a new cultural mission, as well as to commemorate the Miao King Jia Laoxiang, Maopingtun of Zhongping Village renamed the Sanyou Waterfall named after the original tourists. "Rongxi Waterfall is a beautiful place, and we come here every summer to play, swim and take pictures. Tourist Ma Xiaodong said.
In 2023, the annual tourist volume will be close to 100,000 person-times, the annual operating income will exceed one million yuan, and the overall annual associated economic income will be nearly 1.5 million yuan, directly benefiting 107 households and 399 people, including 163 people from 44 households directly benefiting from poverty alleviation, indirectly driving 571 households and 2,188 people in Zhongping Village to increase their income, and helping to consolidate the income of 211 households and 788 people in Zhongping Village, which has good economic benefits, social and ecological benefits.
