On April 30, Beijing time, HoopsHype, a well-known American media, announced a player survey of them, in which a total of 100 players answered the topic of who is the GOAT, of which 85 were directly interviewed by HoopsHype, and 15 talked about their choices through social media or public interviews. Compared to the previous vote results of The Athletic (Jordan 45.9% vs. James 42.1%), the gap between Jordan and James this time is a little bigger.

The stats show that Jordan got 49 of the 100 votes, James got 37 votes, Kobe Bryant got 9 votes, and Anthony, Durant, Bird, Wade and Bill Russell each got 1 vote.

From the analysis of nationality voting, the proportion of international players who support Jordan GOAT is higher, with 44.2% of American players voting for Jordan and 40.3% voting for James, while 65.2% of international players voting for Jordan and 26.1% voting for James.
