The last weekend of April every year is the anniversary of Tsinghua University. On Saturday, April 27, I went back to school for the school celebration.
Tsinghua University at the time of the school celebration was very lively. There are banners everywhere, which reminds me of the scene when I was doing a graphic business at Tsinghua University - when we meet the school anniversary, maybe half of the activities are served by us. There are forums in almost every building, and the atmosphere of communication is overwhelming. There will be a large-scale and grand annual activity for the 10-year year of graduation, and there will be a big celebration for the department that has been established or re-established for 10 years, such as the Department of Biology at Tsinghua University (now the School of Life Sciences) where I was in that year, and this year is the 40th anniversary of the resumption of the department.
So this year I saw a lot more people than in previous years! The industry forum in the new biological hall was very popular, and I finally found a big seat for the baby, but she wanted to come to me and get tired of it, so I could only sit on the small bench in the aisle with her. The uncle in the back is my classmate Xia Weiliang.
At the forum, I met Professor Zhao Nanming again, who is the first deputy head of the Department of Biology at Tsinghua University, but we are all well aware of his historic contributions to the life and medicine disciplines of Tsinghua University.
I haven't seen Mr. Cheng Jing for a long time, I listened carefully to his lectures on anti-epidemic and traditional Chinese medicine AI, and I was deeply impressed.
When I met my mentor Chen Yinghua, who was a doctoral student, he was sitting on the steps of the old biology hall with Zhou Haimeng, and he was still as peaceful and simple as ever. The image and temperament of these two old partners, old neighbors, old brand friends, and old smokers have always felt a bit similar to me for more than 20 years.
I haven't seen Senior Brother Shi Yigong for another year, and I've maintained my figure so well! Seeing him, many people will instantly become fan brothers, and I am no exception, take a photo first!
However, when I saw him and his classmates (there were about 10 senior brothers and sisters in the 85th class), as well as the head teacher Sun Zhirong, chatting, coaxing, and taking photos together, and happily celebrating the ribbon-cutting and opening of the Department History Museum donated by the class, I instantly knew that he was just treating himself as an ordinary Tsinghua alumnus, and suddenly there was a lot less sense of distance.

I met Mr. Sui Senfang again, and his impression of me was that he was "printed with T-shirts", and then he was a student of Rao Zihe, and Jiang Jiansen, who was studying for a doctorate in his laboratory, was a classmate. At the age of 80, he is still in good spirits, walking lightly, and has a unique charm of self-confidence.
On the way to Xicao, I heard the slogan of "working for the health of the motherland for 50 years" from afar, and this must be the Tsinghua running group that "will run as many laps as the school celebrates!" Senior Brother Wang Hongwei is now the vice president, and as a Tsinghua person who has been running for a long time, he runs in the first row of the team and truly implements the sportsmanship of Tsinghua University by demonstrating his behavior. My child and I also joined the team, of course, it was suspected that it was for posing......
At noon, Mr. Chen invited my family and Xia Weiliang to eat in the canteen, and Tsinghua special yogurt was one bag per person. If this yogurt can be introduced to the market as it is, I have even thought of the advertising slogan, that is, "Go to Tsinghua University, drink yogurt!" (pay attention to the order, you can't do it the other way around, you can't go to Tsinghua University by drinking yogurt alone.) ）
I met a lot of acquaintances, and I met N students in my class when I was a counselor, and there were actually people whose names I couldn't call out freely, and as I got older, my memory began to decay.
I was the founding secretary general of the Tsinghua School of Biomedicine Alumni Association from 2015 to 2017, from 0 to 1, and in the following two years, I also did a little work, including promoting the joint office and activities with the Life Science and Medical Health Association of the Tsinghua Alumni Association (later changed to the Special Committee), establishing the Shanghai Alumni Association and the Physician Alumni Association, contacting many alumni and organizing some good activities.
Of course, I was pleasantly surprised that the college awarded me this award, and I was a little proud that my little contribution back then was noticed and recognized. Especially today, my child witnessed me receiving this award, and she was also very happy and took a picture of me. I told her that the medal would be given to her for safekeeping.
By the way, the box of the medal has the logo of Tsinghua School of Life Sciences, which I designed back then. There is also an interesting fact, the DNA in the middle was mistakenly made into a left-handed spiral at first, but after using it for a while, it was discovered by Mr. Zhang Guiyou, and we quickly changed it to a right-handed spiral. So I'm a "Tsinghua scumbag" is really a bit of a "scumbag".
Speaking of today's awards, in fact, there are alumni of different grades over the years, and the list of winners on the screen has several pages, which are sorted by grade, although I am the last one on the first page, but this first page is probably really "old" alumni certification. The daughter is quite comforting, saying Dad, you are the youngest on this page. I can only say that you don't understand Dad's fear of "oldness......
Tsinghua taught me and nurtured me, and the kindness is unforgettable. After becoming an "alumnus" from a "classmate", Tsinghua University has always cared for me, supported me and encouraged me. Among the alumni, there are many senior brothers who helped me when I was in difficulty, junior sisters who joined me to start a business together, and "noble people" who actively supported me in strategy and business and helped me at all times.
Even the name "warm-hearted" is directly related to Tsinghua alumni activities. In 2015, at Tsinghua University's anniversary, I organized alumni activities in the School of Life Sciences and visited Mr. Chen Yinghua.

Referring to my return to be the secretary general of the alumni association of the college, Mr. Chen said, "Canhui, you are a warm-hearted!" I had been struggling with for several months, what name should I give to my official account for intestinal health. Mr. Chen's words suddenly inspired me, and I was no longer entangled, so I was called "warm-hearted" and enthusiastic about my intestines!

Therefore, the origin of "warm-heartedness" is a beautiful "good karma", and good karma comes from the broadness and fraternity of students like Tsinghua taught me.
