It is understood that the local chrysanthemum cultivation seedlings of cuttings and seedlings planting methods mainly include three steps of collecting chrysanthemum fragments, fragmented strip pruning, cuttings, and cultivating seedlings from mid-March every year until the end of mid-to-late May. This year's total number of seedlings will reach more than 10 million, at present, cuttings seedlings in about 9 million, the cultivation of chrysanthemum seedlings can not only supply Yunyang local 11 towns (streets) 30 villages (communities) chrysanthemum planting base planting, but also for Chongqing Wanzhou, Kaizhou and other 4 districts and counties 9 bases to supply chrysanthemum seedlings.
Up to now, the chrysanthemum planting area of the county has reached 45,000 mu, with an output of 14,000 tons and a comprehensive output value of 150 million yuan. The planting area covers 20 towns and 46 villages such as Yanping, Red Lion and Longjiao. Through the model of "enterprise + professional cooperatives + farmers" and "order + minimum protection price purchase", a total of more than 18,000 chrysanthemum farmers in the county have been driven to increase their income and become rich.
