In order to meet the upcoming flood season in May, the Provincial Disaster Command Office has arranged two rounds of pre-flood investigations with full coverage, and at the same time, the maintenance and commissioning of monitoring and early warning equipment, publicity and training drills have also been fully carried out, and the work has been resolutely built into a solid line of defense for land disasters.
In the past few days, under the overall arrangement of the Provincial Disaster Command Office, disaster prevention and control personnel at all levels have not only carried out full-coverage investigation and rectification of hidden risks of land disasters in key areas such as mountains and valleys, but also focused on the prevention of land disasters in the field of projects under construction. Guangyuan Zhaohua District has divided the 67 projects under construction in the district into three levels, and scientifically formulated disaster prevention measures at different levels; in Xuanhan, Dazhou, a local safety inspection team has been set up to carry out inspections of disaster risk points at construction sites at regular and fixed points by adopting the method of "human patrol + machine patrol".

As of April 25, a total of 4,815 construction sites and camps have been investigated at all levels in the province, 124 problems have been found, 117 rectifications have been completed, and the remaining 7 are being rectified. In addition, including the hidden danger points that have been cancelled, the two rounds of full coverage of 59,000 hidden danger points of land disasters were investigated, and 456 new hidden danger points were found, all of which implemented disaster prevention responsibilities and measures one by one.
At the same time, all localities also carry out testing and maintenance of various facilities and equipment, and in Bazhong Tongjiang, a local inspection team has been set up to inspect and maintain 200 monitoring and early warning equipment at the county's geological disaster hidden danger points.
Xie Gang, technician of the regional geological survey team of Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development: At present, we are maintaining and overhauling the monitoring equipment of 40 geological disaster points in Tongjiang County, and the progress has been completed by 70%, and all equipment maintenance tasks will be completed before April 30 to ensure that all monitoring equipment can operate normally during the flood season.
As of the 25th of this month, the province has carried out more than 42,000 training and drills at different levels, with 967,000 cadres and people participating, and more than 26,000 people have been trained to detect and prevent disasters in the field.
