The completion of the opening to traffic can not only greatly alleviate the pressure of east-west traffic in the urban area, enhance the level of infrastructure around the region and the image of the city, but also bring great convenience to the masses to travel.
North trunk canal road (Xinong Road - Xinqiao Road) widening and reconstruction project with a total length of 1,867 meters, from Xinqiao Road in the east, to Xinong Road in the west, with a total investment of 180 million yuan, the width of the red line is 32 meters, the main lane is 25.8 meters, the construction content includes roads, water supply, rain and sewage, power cable pipe gallery, greening, etc., and the road is two-way six lanes after opening to traffic.
Bai Mannian, director of the bidding office of Yangling District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, said: " The North Trunk Canal Road project has several characteristics, one is that after the road is repaired, the rain and sewage interception north of the North Trunk Canal Road can be unified, which can effectively alleviate the problem of urban waterlogging downstream, and also solves the problem of rain and sewage undiverted in Yangling District that the central environmental protection inspection team has been proposing, and the second is that after the road is widened, all intelligent street lights are adopted, and the functions of other poles are integrated into the street lamp poles as much as possible through the use of multiple poles in one, so as to reduce the number of street lamp poles on the sidewalk and maximize the traffic rate of personnel. ”
At present, the main lane of this section has achieved two-way traffic, and the rainwater pipe network has been laid in place, and street lights have also been installed in place. The next step will be to carry out detailed construction on the sidewalks on both sides of the road, and the construction and greening of the sidewalks will be completed by the end of May. At the same time, the traffic management department will discuss the road sign marking, determine the optimal plan, and complete the marking setting at one time when laying the surface oil, so as to achieve the optimal traffic efficiency.
