In April 2019, Han Yong, as the leader of the 20th Central Supervision Group, was stationed in Yunnan Province. After Sun Xiaoguo's case was reported by the media, it aroused great concern in society. During the supervision, the central supervision group found that there were many problems behind Sun Xiaoguo's case, so it handed over the case to Yunnan Province as a key case. In May of the same year, the 20th Central Supervision Group gave feedback to Yunnan Province on the supervision situation, specially listened to the report on Sun Xiaoguo's case, and asked the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee to organize capable forces, severely punish according to law, dig deep and thoroughly investigate in place, and handle the case as an iron case, and the Central Supervision Group will organize a "review" in a timely manner.
