Now, the price of tickets for the Potala Palace during the tourist season has been adjusted
According to the latest news on the WeChat public account of the "Potala Palace Official Platform".
The Potala Palace will be open from May 1 to October 31, 2024
Visiting time: 9:00-15:40, adjusted according to the specific situation of the number of visitors.
Full-price tickets: 200 yuan/person for Line 1, 100 yuan/person for Line 2;
Preferential tickets: 100 yuan/person for Line 1, 50 yuan/person for Line 2.
Number of visitors: 5,000 on Line 1 and 2,000 on Line 2.
Visitors who come to visit the Potala Palace should log in to the "Potala Palace Ticket Reservation System" or the official WeChat public account of the Potala Palace within 10 days in advance to make an appointment for a visit.
Ticket purchase must be purchased through my mobile phone WeChat, and the payment will be completed within 15 minutes, and tickets cannot be purchased again within 7 days from the date of visit.
On the day of the visit, visitors need to arrive at the security checkpoint at the main entrance of the Potala Palace 1 hour in advance to avoid delaying the visit.
Seniors over the age of 60 who have difficulty using smart technology should make an on-site reservation at the "Potala Palace Ticket Reservation Office" one day in advance (tickets will be issued from 9:00 a.m., while supplies last).
