Hello dear readers and friends~
It's a story about figure skating that's touching and heart-wrenching.
Once upon a time, we saw on television those graceful figure skaters, leaping over the ice, as if weaving a gorgeous dance in the air. They are artists on ice and bring us endless surprises and joy.
Behind the splendor on the ice, however, is a brutal arena. What a price and effort these athletes have paid in order to chase glory and shine in that moment.
In the world of figure skating, every athlete is a story. I've heard of Trusova, whose graceful crab stride and amazing quadruple jump only ended in second place. After the game, her smile disappeared and turned into a kind of helplessness and loss.
Then there's Shcherbakova, who has won the title steadily but faces an uncertain future. She admits that she doesn't know if there will be another Winter Olympics. For them, the future is full of unknowns and challenges.
The most heart-wrenching thing is that Valieva, a former Predator, fell in a row during a match and left the field crying. Her story gives a sense of the cruelty and ruthlessness of the sports world.
These figure skaters, behind their achievements hide countless bitterness and dedication. Taking medicine at the age of 15 to inhibit development, and scrapping at the age of 20, such a "short-lived" nesting doll is embarrassing.
Sister Eitley Tutelize, she is the driving force behind all this. In order to pursue the championship, she trained batch after batch of athletes, but left unhealable scars on them.
This story teaches us that the stories behind sports are often untold. The beauty of the ice is bought with blood, sweat and pain. Athletes will give everything for a moment of glory.
As sports spectators, we should pay more attention to the dedication and effort of the athletes, rather than just seeing how they perform on the ice. They are flesh-and-blood people with dreams and pursuits.
After the end of this Winter Olympics, let us remember the athletes who fought hard for their dreams and respect their dedication and efforts. They are heroes in the world of sports, but also brave people in ordinary life.
