On the morning of April 24, the Red Cross Society of Xiangshui County held a farewell party for Chen Junming to donate hematopoietic stem cells to Ningbo. He Yan, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress and president of the County Red Cross Society, relevant responsible comrades of the Propaganda Department of the County Party Committee, Canal Town, and the County Red Cross Society, Chen Junming, a hematopoietic stem cell donation volunteer, and his family attended the farewell party.
Chen Junming, 23 years old this year, is a member of the Youth Party of Canal Town, and is now a staff member of the village affairs management post of the second set of villages in Canal Town, Yancheng City's "100 Elite Strong Village Action". During his college years, he was the captain of the school's volunteer service team, and often co-organized unpaid blood donation and hematopoietic stem cell sampling activities with the local Red Cross, and in April 2021, he was sampled and put into the database, becoming a glorious hematopoietic stem cell donation volunteer.
"When my relatives and friends knew that I was going to donate hematopoietic stem cells, they were very concerned about me and asked me if donating hematopoietic stem cells had any effect on my body. In fact, when I mobilized my classmates to participate in blood donation and hematopoietic stem cell sampling, I already had a full understanding of hematopoietic stem cell donation. After reaching the age of blood donation, Chen Junming has been participating in unpaid blood donation, and has donated a total of 2,400 ml of blood. "If there is a need, call to answer!" After the farewell party, Chen Junming, accompanied by the staff of the county Red Cross Society, went to Nanjing BenQ Hospital to prepare for the donation of hematopoietic stem cells. According to the provincial donation plan, he began to inject mobilizing agents as soon as he was admitted to the hospital in preparation for the collection of hematopoietic stem cells on April 29. After completing the donation, he will become the 17th hematopoietic stem cell donor in Xiangshui County and the first post-00 hematopoietic stem cell donor in Xiangshui County.
