However, although Yu Zuomin was enthusiastic, he was not carried away by enthusiasm. He knew that Daegu Village's economic foundation was average, and if this step was wrong, the villagers' net worth would be lost.

The villager said that everyone relied on their own skills and their own labor to get promoted, but Yu Zuomin, as the village secretary, let his relatives be the leaders of the factory, so he could not convince the public.
These words are not wrong, but in Yu Zuomin's view, this is a challenge to his authority. So, Yu Zuomin called a group of people to teach the villager a lesson.

In 1990, Yu Zuomin's daughter was raped by the director of a factory in the village.

After several months of interrogation, Yu Zuomin was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges of obstructing official duties, offering bribes, and illegal detention, and in October 1999, Yu Zuomin committed suicide after swallowing a large amount of sleeping pills in prison.
In 2022, NHK, a Japanese media outlet, came to Daegu Village for an interview, and they found that the door number of Daegu Zhuang Yu Zuomin's mansion had been removed, and the mansion was surrounded by weeds and a lonely scene.
Yu Zuomin was originally a people's entrepreneur who was loved by the villagers and led everyone to get rich together, but in the end, he was proud of his achievements, went to the abyss of crime, and became an out-and-out underworld. His deeds are a wake-up call.
