At 1 p.m. on April 28, 2024, 18 volunteers from Chenggu District, Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province, together with the Huinar Xinjiang Dance Team and the Sister Sailor Dance Team, came to the Songhe Nursing Home in Chenggu County to celebrate the "May Day" International Labor Day.
The Songhe Nursing Home in Chenggu County is located two kilometers north of the city. Dongwang volunteers often come here to provide various convenient services for the elderly, such as foot soaking, nail cutting, haircuts, singing, dancing, etc. As soon as the elderly see the volunteers, they will happily greet them. Volunteers quickly set up the stage and set up long chairs, while the staff of the nursing home helped the elderly people to come and take their seats, looking forward to the start of the performance.
Dongwang volunteers opened with a passionate song "Dongfang Hong", the passionate melody, melodious singing, "Dongfang Hong, the sun rises, China has a Mao Zedong, he is the people's savior......" made the old people present fascinated, tears flashing in their eyes, as if they were brought back to Chairman Mao's era, fell into a long period of contemplation. Immediately afterwards, the dance "Beautiful Grape Ditch" was staged, and the beauties of the Henar Xinjiang Dance Team wore small felt hats and long skirts, dancing, and their beautiful dancing posture showed the roughness and hospitality of Xinjiang people to the fullest. Wonderful and constantly presented, taking turns on the stage, and then the sister sailor dance team performed "I Respect the Motherland Three Glasses of Wine", their neat pace, military-like temperament, full of patriotic feelings, won the warm applause of the uncles and aunts in the nursing home. The program was wonderful, including Tibetan dance, solo dance, solo singing, etc., and the three teams gathered together to present a very rich spiritual feast for the elderly, so that they could happily welcome the "May Day" Labor Day.
Labor is the most glorious, labor creates beauty, and labor is the greatest. Volunteers gather the strength of all parties to make it shine and radiate heat, and contribute to the promotion of social civilization and harmony.
