In order to further enhance the awareness of disease prevention among the elderly and improve the health level of the elderly, on April 26, the sixth "Bashan Community Lecture Hall" sponsored by Dazhou Open University (Dazhou Community College and Dazhou Fengqiao College) entered Quxian University for the Elderly to carry out a special health lecture on "Prevention and Screening of Gastrointestinal Tumors". More than 200 people attended the event, including leaders of Dazhou Open University, personnel from continuing education and information departments, leaders and students of Quxian University for the Elderly, Quxian Community College, etc. Yang Xiaobing, member of the Party Committee and vice president of Dazhou Open University, attended and presided over the event.
The training activities were held in Quxian University for the Elderly, and the special lecture on "Prevention and Screening of Gastrointestinal Tumors" was specially invited to give a lecture by Wang Biao, deputy director and deputy chief physician of the Department of General Surgery of Dazhou Central Hospital, who expounded the origin, common population, global distribution, treatment status and main causes of gastric cancer from the perspective of epidemiology, emphasizing the two major criminals of gastric cancer - nitrite and Helicobacter pylori stomach. This paper introduces the knowledge of gastric cancer prevention, risk assessment and screening from 17 aspects, the common sense of reducing the risk of gastric cancer from 14 aspects, and gives an in-depth explanation on the general situation and characteristics of bowel cancer, high-risk age groups and early screening of 9 types of bowel cancer.
The atmosphere of the lecture was lively, and Director Wang patiently answered the health problems of the elderly friends one by one on the spot.
