In 2024, the Chongming District Fire and Rescue Detachment will recruit 64 full-time government firefighters (42 combatants, 8 duty vehicle drivers, 6 communicators, 5 auxiliary law enforcement clerks, 2 propaganda clerks, and 1 accounting (audit)).

Eligibility
Prerequisites
(1) Common conditions: 1. Have the nationality of the People's Republic of China; 2. Support the Constitution of the People's Republic of China; 3. Have good moral character; 4. Have the physical conditions to perform duties normally; 5. Have no negative records of violating discipline and law, being expelled from public office, or being dismissed, no negative records in their credit reports, and have no illegal or criminal records in themselves, their family members, or major social relationships; 6. Those who meet the following conditions are preferred: members of the Communist Party of China, retired soldiers of the People's Liberation Army and the Armed Police Force, Outstanding national firefighters and other personnel with fire and rescue-related work experience who have withdrawn.
(2) Job conditions
(1) Combatants
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Males between the ages of 18 and 26 (born between April 1997 and May 2006), with military service experience, more than 2 years of fire and rescue work experience or a bachelor's degree, can be relaxed to 30 years old (born after April 1993).
(2) Driver of the duty vehicle
• High school diploma or equivalent;
•Males between the ages of 18 and 35 (born between April 1988 and May 2006), with military service experience, more than 2 years of fire and rescue work experience or a bachelor's degree, can be relaxed to 38 years old (born after April 1985);
• An A1, A2 or B2 driver's license is required.
(3) Communicator
•College degree or above;
• Males between the ages of 18 and 35 (born between April 1988 and May 2006);
•College degree or above, major in computer software, network communication and other related majors is preferred, with relevant knowledge or work experience in video conferencing system operation, network and common system operation and maintenance, emergency communication implementation support, etc., and drone pilot certificate (AOPA, ASFC, UTC) is preferred.
(4) Auxiliary law enforcement positions
•Have a permanent residence in Shanghai, or a 2024 graduate of a regular college or university in Shanghai;
•Have a bachelor's degree or above, have good communication skills and certain writing skills;
•Safety engineering, construction engineering, civil engineering, administrative management, law, Chinese, file management and other related majors are preferred, registered fire engineer, fire professional skill level certificate is preferred, certain fire safety management professional knowledge, fire safety management work experience is preferred;
• Be between the ages of 18 and 30 (born between April 1993 and May 2006).
(5) News and propaganda posts
•Have a permanent residence in Shanghai, or a 2024 graduate of a regular college or university in Shanghai;
•Bachelor degree or above, good communication skills and writing skills;
•Design, communication, journalism and other related majors, with expertise and achievements in video production, animation design, visual arts, etc., or PR, PS, PPT and other related skills certificates are preferred;
• Be between the ages of 18 and 30 (born between April 1993 and May 2006).
(6) Accounting (auditing) positions
•Have a permanent residence in Shanghai, or a 2024 graduate of a regular college or university in Shanghai;
•Bachelor degree or above, professional and technical qualifications at or above in accounting, familiar with government accounting system, accounting, cashier, asset management and other work contents, familiar with national policies such as individual income tax, social security fund and provident fund;
• Be between the ages of 18 and 30 (born between April 1993 and May 2006).
Application assessment and qualification review
Those who apply for the position of combatant need to participate in an interview and a physical fitness test;
Those who apply for the position of duty vehicle driver and communicator need to participate in an interview, physical fitness test, and skill test;
Those who apply for auxiliary law enforcement, news and publicity, and accounting (auditing) positions need to participate in written examinations, interviews, and physical fitness tests.
The specific time, content, place and relevant requirements of the assessment will be notified separately.
(1) Written examination. The subjects of the written test are "Vocational Aptitude Test" and "Basics of Official Document Writing", and the examination does not specify a tutorial book, and the scope of the examination is subject to the "Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps Government Full-time Firefighter Recruitment Examination Syllabus".
(2) Interview. The relevant professional ability level of the candidates, such as language expression, logical thinking, on-the-spot adaptability, sense of responsibility and enterprising, as well as motivation, behavior and image temperament, etc., will be carried out in the form of structured interviews. Among them, the interview and assessment personnel shall be determined in principle according to the ratio of 1:3 of the number of recruitment plans for each position.
Before the interview, applicants need to bring their ID card, household registration booklet, academic certificate and academic verification certificate, work experience certificate and other original and photocopy, 2 1-inch bareheaded photos and other materials. The proof materials for academic qualification verification include the "Electronic Registration and Filing Form of Academic Certificates of the Ministry of Education" or the "China Higher Education Qualification Authentication Report" of the Academic Information Network, and the "Foreign Academic Degree Certification" issued by the Service Center for Overseas Study of the Ministry of Education shall be provided for foreign academic qualifications.
(3) Physical fitness test. For details of the physical fitness test standards, please refer to the Physical Fitness Assessment Items and Standards for the Recruitment of Government Full-time Firefighters of the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps.
(4) Skills test. Check whether the candidate has the basic skills required to perform the position.
Medical examination and political examination
After the application assessment, the candidates for the physical examination and political examination will be determined according to the comprehensive results. Applicants are required to participate in the physical examination and psychological test organized by the recruiting unit, and cooperate with the recruiting unit to carry out political examination.
Personnel recruitment
The personnel to be hired shall be determined by the recruiting unit according to the prescribed procedures and standards, sign a labor contract, participate in pre-job training and assessment, and the probation period shall be 6 months. Those who fail to pass the assessment or fail to complete the pre-job training tasks will not be regularized.
Government full-time firefighters shall have a minimum of 3 years of service, and if they leave their jobs due to their own reasons within the minimum number of years, the expenses required for vocational ability training and clothing shall be borne by themselves.
Special Tips
The recruitment is organized by the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps, and does not entrust any agency or individual to carry out the recruitment work, does not specify the tutoring book, and does not charge any registration examination fees. The qualification review runs through the whole process of recruitment, and those who provide false materials, deliberately conceal the truth, and cheat in the application assessment will be immediately disqualified from employment once verified.
