Relying on the rich geology and natural resources, the mysterious and magnificent Suiyang Shuanghe Cave Scenic Area brings together a complete ecological combination of caves, forests, mountains and waters. Shuanghe Cave, known as the "Karst Natural Cave Museum", is the third longest cave in the world and the first in Asia, as well as the "longest dolomite cave in the world" and "the largest lapis lazuli cave in the world".
After the rain, the Shuanghe Cave Scenic Area has a unique taste, its cave mystery, overlapping peaks, and the winding scenery of the green river have attracted countless tourists, in addition to the traditional tourist groups, the research team is also endless. "Really beautiful and shocking......" Shuanghe Cave can be seen everywhere in the stone stalactite, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains and other forms, the gorgeous and colorful lights will reflect the whole cave like a dream, the natural formation of scenic spots stop one by one, every step is beautiful, Sichuan Mei students walk all the way to see, feel the power of water drops and stone wear in the magic of nature, and marvel at the beautiful scenery under the eye from time to time.
"The first thing I felt about Shuanghe Cave was shock, especially the mirage, which is as beautiful as the sky, I took a lot of photos along the way, I want to share them with my family, if I have the opportunity next time, I will bring my family to play together." Mei Xinyue, a student at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, said.
"This time I came to Suiyang to study, and I intuitively felt that Suiyang's research and education has done very well, and the research route, humanities and history, nature, ecological environment and other resources here have advantages. In particular, we came to Shuanghe Cave today, which brought us a new experience, and we hope to stimulate students' interest in learning and creativity through this cave research tour, and also look forward to Suiyang to create more high-quality research courses. It is understood that the Shuanghe Cave Scenic Area is an important part of the research and practice education base behind the Twelve. The unique "sports tourism research route" and the standardized, branded and diversified research and tourism model have become a "time-honored signboard".
In recent years, the base has built 25 courses in four major curriculum systems: geological science popularization, outdoor sports, nature education, and poetry culture, focusing on its own resource advantages, so that students can immerse themselves in the mountains and wilderness, so as to obtain the all-round development of physical and mental health. In 2018, it was rated by the Ministry of Education as a national research and practice education base for primary and secondary school students, and it is also the first batch of research and travel practice education bases for primary and secondary school students in Zunyi City. In 2023, the "Classroom Walking Behind the Twelve" will be on the list of Guizhou ecological research routes.
"At present, the tourism area behind our 12th has become a comprehensive tourism body integrating the three main IPs of tourism vacation, research travel and sports tourism. Catching up with the "boom" of research and study tours, Suiyang is based on "situational" teaching and research and "travel and research, travel and learning" and "research and learning in the curriculum", comprehensively integrates education, tourism, culture and other resources, and has developed more than 70 research courses such as geological science popularization, adventure sports, nature education, poetry and culture, etc., launched 5 high-quality routes, and created 12 research bases such as national nature education base, national sports tourism demonstration base, and provincial labor education comprehensive practice base, and 85 primary and secondary schools in the county. Achieve full coverage of labor education, continue to deepen school-local and school-enterprise cooperation, sign the "School-Local (School-Enterprise) Cooperation Agreement" with Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, Capital Normal University, Central South University, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, etc., and continue to promote the establishment of national youth research and travel destinations, national college students' literary and artistic creation practice bases, and national college students' "three to the countryside" social practice bases; More than 300 primary and secondary schools, including Chongqing Bashu Middle School, have reached a cooperative relationship with research travel, and have undertaken more than 400,000 young people on research trips.
