In order to effectively reduce the non-education and teaching burden of primary and secondary school teachers, the secretary group of the Central Education Work Leading Group recently issued a notice to make arrangements for the special rectification work of standardizing social affairs into campuses to reduce the burden on primary and secondary school teachers, and requiring centralized rectification of activities and work unrelated to education and teaching to enter the campus at will, as well as the formalism of emphasizing traces and ignoring practical results in the process of social affairs entering the campus, so as to create a good environment for education and teaching.
The circular proposes four main tasks
The first is to systematically map out the situation of social affairs entering the campus in recent years, formulate access standards, and strengthen the rectification of problems;
The second is to establish a system for approving and reporting social affairs entering the campus, strictly controlling the total amount of social affairs entering the campus at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, establishing a white list and announcing it to the public;
the third is to review the specific plan for social affairs to enter the campus, and strictly control the scope and duration of activities;
Fourth, normalize and standardize social affairs on campus.
The circular requires all localities to take the standardization of social affairs into the campus as an important task for the education system to rectify formalism and reduce the burden on the grassroots level, and to test the effectiveness of the special rectification with the sense of gain of teachers and students.
