As previously reported by Zongguan News, on April 10, during the relocation of the Xuecun Battle Martyrs' Tomb in Suning County, Cangzhou City, the staff found a small mirror with a photo on the chest of the remains of the No. 31 martyr, the photo shows a very delicate and dignified young woman, 82 years later, the photo is still clearly visible and well preserved. This scene moved countless netizens and speculated about who she was. Whether they were the martyrs' lovers, wives, relatives, etc., everything is unknown. The only thing that is certain is that she must be the person this martyr cares about the most.
"If the photos can be clearer, can we increase the success rate of the martyrs' search for their relatives?" a message on the Internet touched Ju Xudong. During his college years, he was particularly interested in photo restoration, and combined his major in network engineering to teach himself photo restoration. Eight years ago, he and several like-minded friends of the "post-90s" set up TR Art Studio, whose main work is photo restoration, portrait restoration, and historical restoration of museums and memorial halls.

"It is easy to go into a mistake when repairing alone, and it is difficult to grasp the whole picture. The four of us made 4 versions separately, and we just wanted to better restore the appearance of the woman in the photo. Ju Xudong told reporters, "The edges of this photo are very damaged. Where the ambiguity is very large, you need to redraw the details, and if you are not careful, you may damage the temperament of the original image. We're redrawn one pixel, one pixel by one. ”
Checking every detail over and over again, comparing every feature almost harshly...... After an almost sleepless week of restoration, the faces of the characters on the computer became clearer and the final version emerged. The staff of TR Art Studio were so excited that they posted the restored images on social platforms.
