The main venue will be held at 8 a.m. on April 27 in Fushan Forest Park, and the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Mass Mountaineering and Fitness Conference and the launching ceremony of the Qingdao National Fitness Mountaineering Festival will be held simultaneously. The event was hosted by the China Mountaineering Association, Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau, and Shandong Provincial Sports Federation, and undertaken by Qingdao Municipal Sports Bureau, Shibei District People's Government, and Qingdao Sports Federation.
The activities of the sub-venues of each district and city shall be undertaken by the education and sports bureaus, sports (development) centers, and sports associations of each district and city, and the party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, social organizations, and community residents in the districts shall be organized to participate.
Under the guidance of the China Mountaineering Association, after 21 years of cultivation and growth, more than one million citizens participate in mountaineering and fitness every year.
In order to facilitate more citizens to participate in mountaineering activities, 37 mountains (parks) and scenic spots are now recommended to the society, and the general public and friends are welcome to actively participate.
In order to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of this event, and to use the mountaineering festival as a platform to advocate a healthy and scientific lifestyle, the organizers encourage the general public to pay attention to mountain and forest fire prevention while climbing and fitness, bring their own garbage bags, pick up garbage and debris along the way, and advocate civilized mountaineering and environmental protection mountaineering.
