This also proves that now China's chips can finally achieve self-sufficiency, and this makes the United States anxious to "scratch its ears and cheeks", why is the United States so anxious? What is the impact of the development of Chinese chips on the United States?
Chinese chips have finally "stood up".
According to a report by the South China Morning Post on April 18, China's chips have reached 98.1 billion in the first quarter of this year, and it can now be said that it directly meets the demand for chips in various industries in China.
We all know that the United States is one of the most advanced countries in the world, and the United States' attitude towards China can be said to be "bad".
And we have to know that it is no coincidence that Chinese chips can stand up, although the United States is the most advanced country, but the United States has the advantage of high-end chips, and there is no doubt that there are more people who choose American products for high-end chips.
However, there are not many places where high-end chips can be used, and the rigid demand for low-end chips in the chip market is indeed very huge.
China is to seize this characteristic, first from the low-end chips, after the development of low-end chips, China quickly occupied the low-end chip market, which not only let China lay the "foundation" of the chip first, but also let China's low-end chips "make a lot of money".
The United States has various sanctions on chips, but it has not been implemented for chips above 28mm, which is mainly due to the wide range of applications for these chips.
Whether it is medical equipment or the automotive industry, these chips will be widely used, and if the United States really sanctions chips in this area, it is very likely to disrupt the entire market.
And China is the first target of the United States now, for which we in China of course also know, so we have drilled the hole of the United States' own sanctions, from the chip above 28mm to "open the way", of course, China is also well aware of this, so your sanctions on high-end chips have nothing to do with China.
At that time, we were not producing and developing high-end chips, so the US sanctions could not have any impact on the development of Chinese chips.
The mainland has taken advantage of this loophole to become the "big head" of low-end chips, and even in the field of new energy, China's development can be said to have an absolute advantage.
China's new energy vehicle technology is far ahead, new energy vehicles in the mainland is now an emerging technology, and in the world, new energy vehicles are now the trend of the future society.
There is no doubt about this, and in China, new energy vehicles can be said to be very popular in the world, until now, the sales of new energy vehicles in China have been on the rise.
The demand for chips in the new energy industry is also quite large, and I believe that those who know this know it, and China has no pressure in this regard.
Consumption of chips for new energy vehicles
Many people will ask why China's output has soared so sharply this year, which is actually very understandable, mainly linked to the new energy industry.
In the first quarter of this year, the sales of new energy vehicles in mainland China were 2.115 million and 2.09 million respectively, an increase of 28.2% and 31.8% year-on-year, respectively, and the market share reached 31.1%.
In March alone, our new energy vehicles in China have completed sales of 863,000 and 883,000 units, and the export of new energy vehicles has reached 124,000 units.
And chips are the "core" of these new energy vehicles, if there are no chips, there will be no energy vehicles, so you know, a new energy vehicle has 2000 to 3000 chips.
This is not the limit, and the mid-to-high-end trams need 4000 to 5000 chips, which is incomparable to oil cars, and the chips of oil cars are generally only 300 to 700 pieces, which can be seen that it is not a level at all.
And now that the sales of energy vehicles are being used, of course, there will be more chips, so in this case, it is indeed understandable and natural that China's chips have grown so rapidly in a short period of time.
Western countries are even more "red-eyed" when they see that our Chinese new energy vehicles are really up, but Western countries have not thought of entering the ranks of new energy.
But in the end, it was declared a failure, and Apple also invested billions to design its own new energy vehicles, and finally announced that it would stop.
Now new energy vehicles can be said to be a "patent" exclusive to China, and Western countries have begun to continue the Chinese conspiracy theory after seeing that China's new energy vehicle export sales are also very good.
It is even said that Beijing, China actually has a remote control, as long as China is willing, one key can make those vehicles in their country that buy Chinese new energy vehicles stop, and even can get the information of all car owners with one click.
This kind of statement is more magical than fantasy novels, and I don't know who such an excuse will coax, anyway, I laughed after listening to it, and three-year-old children don't believe it now.
Of course, in addition to the chips needed for automobiles, China's mobile phone chips are of course the focus of the United States' blockade and boycott, and the progress of China's mobile phone chips can also be said to be really "thankful" to the United States.
The emergence of mobile phone chips is "thankful" to the United States
From 2018 to 2019, the United States "stuck" China incident, which made chips the focus, and the United States was also very prosperous during that period, and we in China suffered a big loss.
But this loss also made China know that everything needs to be owned by itself, and it cannot blindly rely on others, so that what the United States has done to us will appear.
After that, the mainland also began to develop its own mobile phone chips, I believe everyone knows about the Huawei chip incident, and Huawei is in order to develop chips that belong to China, and every year a large amount of revenue will be invested in research and development.
But in the end, all the efforts paid off, and Huawei's chips were officially developed, although the first and second models became "jokes".
After the successful research and development, it was found that it was not practical to put it on the mobile phone, and the sales in the market were not good, which was considered a failure of research and development, but for China, this is a big step forward.
Huawei wasted a lot of effort in the development of chips at that time, even after failure, it did not stop the pace of research and development, and finally had China's own mobile phone chips.
And now Huawei's new mobile phone, although the price is slightly more expensive than before, but the cost performance is still higher than Apple's, which may also cause Apple's market share in China to be hit.
And now China's mobile phone chips have basically been localized, and the era of the United States is finally passing for China, and the current United States has been insisting that China's current chip development still does not surpass the United States, or there is no "advanced" in the United States.
The United States is having a hard time now
Indeed, in the early days of reform and opening up, the mainland had just begun to develop in various fields, and China was not noticed by Western countries at that time.
It is also because China's economy is limited, and there is nothing that can dominate, but we in China were not discouraged at that time, but it can be said that because it was not noticed, China was able to develop very rapidly.
In various fields, our development in the non-chip field can be said to be rapid, but in the chip suffered from the United States, Huawei and many other Chinese companies began to be self-sufficient in the chip field, and even did the wind and water, at that time I thought that Chinese companies could go far now.
But I didn't expect our swiftness to be seen by the United States, and then the United States gave China a heavy blow, and we intercepted us so quickly because we were developing too rapidly in other fields except for the chip field, but those fields were not able to be intercepted by the United States.
But chips are different, the United States was a big chip country at that time, and it could sanction China at will and not give Chinese chips, but after the boycott, we in China did not give up on this aspect.
Even more "radical", this is what we admire most in China, which will not give up all opportunities to become strong, and as it stands, China's original insistence is correct.
According to the mainland's chip data for traditional semiconductors in the first quarter of 2024, it has surged by 40%, and such a huge output is even more to say that China's current efforts in chips are not in vain.
Now the United States may also regret it, China has finally stepped out of the US sanctions step by step, all the technology can be self-sufficient, and the United States can no longer control China as much as before.
Not long ago, he interviewed Raimondo, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and also talked about China's current chips, and Raimondo said that China is still much behind the United States in terms of chips.
But after watching Huawei launch the Mate 60 series of mobile phones, her attitude changed, and she wanted to close her US cloud computing data center when she returned to China.
And once again to stop the development of Chinese chips at all costs, does this prove that Chinese chips have now become the existence of the United States?

Everything in China is inseparable from hard work and learning, and the US sanctions can only be regarded as extreme, but they have not had much impact on China's development.
This also proves that China has now broken away from the restraint of the United States, and its "things" are comfortable to use, and the United States is likely to make things difficult for China again in the future.
