The relevant persons in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Municipal Transportation Bureau, the Municipal Urban Management Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, and Boli County released the relevant information and answered questions from reporters.
In 2023, the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, based on its main responsibilities and main business, will combine the construction of municipal pipe network facilities with the practical work of people's livelihood, start from the most urgent needs of the masses, start from the most specific work, and continuously promote urban construction. The construction of municipal pipe networks such as the Future Science and Technology City and the North and South Dazhi Street of Boli County has been launched, and a total of 28.01 kilometers of drainage pipe networks have been newly built and renovated, which has greatly improved the municipal pipe network system of our city. In 2024, the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will continue to promote the construction of municipal pipe network facilities, and plans to build and renovate 22.16 kilometers of drainage pipe network, including 11.2 kilometers at the municipal level and 10.96 kilometers in Boli County, all of which have started construction so far.
In 2023, the Municipal Transportation Bureau will make every effort to strive for the top, actively connect with the Provincial Department of Transportation, adjust the special construction plan for the quality improvement of the section from the Eggplant River to Xiaowu Station of the National Highway Raogai Highway, extend the line to the Eggplant River Bridge, increase the construction mileage by 8.1 kilometers, and include the hardening of 181 crossings along the line into this project, with a final project construction mileage of 50.8 kilometers, a total milling area of 780,000 square meters, and an asphalt concrete paving area of 1 million square meters. The reconstruction and expansion project of the state-owned Huanan Forest Area Road Bundling Project has a total length of 99.96 kilometers, and the project started on August 30, 2022, with an estimated total investment of 222 million yuan. As of the end of 2023, a total investment of 62.98 million yuan has been completed, and the construction tasks of the year have been completed. The city has completed 36 rural road construction projects with a length of 121.2 kilometers, including 26 projects with a length of 83.5 kilometers, 7 projects with a length of 37.7 kilometers planned for 2023, and 3 projects for the reconstruction of dangerous bridges on rural roads. The hardening rate of Tongtun Road in the city has reached 100%, and the hardening rate of Tongtun Road in the province has reached the work target of more than 86% two years ahead of schedule.
In 2023, the Municipal Urban Management Bureau will effectively solve a large number of nighttime "blind spots" and "dangerous spots" through the new construction and renovation of blind spot lighting in residential areas and urban roads, and carry out the installation of 358 "blind spot street lights" and 10,929 LED lamps and energy-saving renovation projects. According to local conditions, we will build an ecological green space landscape of "multi-level, multi-color, quality improvement and connotation", and complete the construction of 6 small parks and small green spaces. A total of 26,600 trees were planted in the counties, districts and urban areas of the city, and about 2,200 square meters of micro-terrain were built to efficiently promote the ecological environment management project of the garbage disposal site. It has built a comprehensive supervision and command center for urban management to meet all-round and multi-level needs, and relies on a distributed management system to realize the intelligent control of the entire command center.
In 2023, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, and Tourism completed the design, production and installation of the "City Light" sculpture, a new landmark building in the "City of Olympic Champions", which is a visual expression of the champion culture of "daring to be the first and striving for the first-class". In 2023, Boli County will spend 2.88 billion yuan in the field of people's livelihood, accounting for 83.6% of the general public budget expenditure. Implement the project of ensuring the safety of drinking water for urban residents, and build a solid line for ensuring drinking water in urban areas. 406 million yuan has been invested to focus on the implementation of the drinking water safety guarantee project for urban residents, a total of 128 kilometers of water distribution branch pipe network has been built, 5,577 households have been completed, and the five module frameworks of the "smart water" system have been completed, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. We will carry out a comprehensive urban waterlogging control project and build a solid flood prevention safety line in cities and towns. 44.3 million yuan was invested to implement the comprehensive urban waterlogging control project, which alleviated the pressure of urban flood control and improved the regional environmental quality by restoring the drainage of open channels in the eastern part of the urban area and building ribbon parks. In 2023, the first phase of the project will be completed, including drainage nullahs, cross-channel culverts, and artificial lakes, and the second phase of the project will resume work at the end of April this year, and the construction of parking lots, landscape pavilions, cultural corridors and other facilities is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
