On April 26, reporters from more than 30 media outlets, including People's Daily, China Daily, Workers' Daily, China News Service, Beijing Daily, and Beijing TV, came to Shijingshan to conduct in-depth visits around Shijingshan's efforts to build a "Western Beijing Science Fiction City" and the preparations for the 8th China Science Fiction Convention in 2024.
The reporters and their entourage successively came to Shougang No. 1 Blast Furnace SOREAL Science Fiction Park and Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation Center to interview the popular Qitian, Yuanke Ark Light Field Platform Project, Cohesive Dimension Digital Live Base, Zhongguancun Science Fiction Industry Innovation Center Research Exhibition Hall and Fantasy Science Fiction Exploration Hall, focusing on the development of science fiction industry, characteristic highlights and achievements in Shijingshan District through on-site visits, check-ins and experiences, and further demonstrating the charm of science fiction in western Beijing.
