At more than 8:20 in the morning, the flood control and rescue team members drained the stagnant water in the Donghua Garden section of Shilian Road
At more than 8 o'clock in the morning, the rain was heavy, and the reporter inspected Fuhua East Road, Panyu Avenue and Shilian Road and found that there was water accumulation on the low-lying road. In the Shilian Road Donghua Garden intersection to Shigang West Village section, the main road and auxiliary roads are waterlogged, of which the auxiliary road is about 0.2 meters of water, Panyu District Urban Drainage Management Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Road Maintenance Center Nancheng Maintenance Institute and Dalong Street organized flood control and rescue team members are distributed at different points, open the rainwater manhole cover to drain the water, do a good job of safety protection around the drainage outlet, guide pedestrians and vehicles to bypass the drainage outlet, and at the same time, extend a helping hand to the citizens in need in time to help pregnant women cross the road. At 10:31, the Panyu District Meteorological Observatory lifted the warning signal of heavy rain and thunderstorm gale, in the past 5 hours, there was a local heavy rain in Panyu District, accompanied by 7~9 local 10 gusts and strong thunder, the average surface rainfall of the whole area was 73.6 mm, Hualong Town recorded the maximum cumulative rainfall of 124.8 mm, Luopu Street recorded the maximum rainfall of 66.0 mm, and Shilou Town recorded the maximum gust of 27.7 m/s (level 10).
