"Wow! I'm looking forward to it!" Recently, in the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Xintiandi Riverside Garden, Zhoujiaqiao Street, residents were immersed in the fun of handmade DIY. This is a Suhe handwork cultural and creative "handicraft class" delivered by Zhoujiaqiao Street to residents in the jurisdiction by relying on the "Six I Practice" characteristic brand activity project of "Six My Practices" in the new era of civilization practice.
With the theme of "Suhe Zhouqiao", the Zhoujiaqiao Handwork Cultural and Creative "Handicraft Classroom" is a joint effort between Zhoujiaqiao Street and Donghua University Student Organization - "Clothing Science Store", with the theme of "Suhe Zhouqiao", to create Zhoujiaqiao's landmark buildings Sanqi People's Night School, Happy Garden, Mirror Garden and Huishui Tianzhong into cultural and creative products with regional characteristics, and promote traditional culture while promoting the story of Zhouqiao.
"Glass painting is an ancient craft, and we organically combine intangible cultural heritage with cultural and creative products through artistic processing, and then send these handicraft activities to the community. Student volunteers at the clothing science store told reporters.
During the day's activities, the glass became a vehicle for the residents' creations. Under the patient guidance and help of student volunteers from Donghua University, the residents used adhesive tape to paste the pre-made patterns into the glasses, and then referred to the students' graffiti colors, dipped acrylic paint with a paintbrush according to the outline lines, and painted the pictures in a dotted way, completing the glass paintings.
"The first time I experienced it, the paint was not very easy to color, it required a lot of patience, but it was quite fun. "Painting on a glass is very practical, and there is a sense of accomplishment in doing it yourself. "Although there were small obstacles in the process of painting, everyone still enjoyed this comfortable creative time.
According to the person in charge of the New Era Civilization Practice Sub-center of the street, from the popular City Walk to the Hand Work on the tip, the street hopes to enrich the cultural life of residents and white-collar workers by shaping civilization practice activities with the connotation of Suzhou Creek, and at the same time enhance everyone's sense of identity and belonging to the jurisdiction. This is also a new attempt by the street to promote the implementation of "I practice culture", one of the characteristic projects of "Six I Practice".
It is understood that the "six self-practices" of civilization practice in the new era also include communication theory, concentrating on soul, citizen self-cultivation, promoting new trends and volunteer service.
