In order to further strengthen the safety education of students to prevent drowning and improve students' safety awareness and self-defense and self-rescue ability, Shishipu Primary School in Mr. Dian Town carried out a drowning prevention visit to all students on April 25.
During the event, teachers went to students' homes and had face-to-face communication with parents. They had a detailed understanding of the students' living and learning conditions at home, conveyed the importance of drowning prevention and related safety knowledge to parents, and reminded parents to earnestly fulfill their guardianship responsibilities and strengthen the daily supervision and education of their children.
During the home visits, the teachers also distributed drowning prevention publicity materials to parents, introducing some practical methods and precautions for drowning prevention. Parents are required to educate their children to do "six no's and four knows": do not swim in the water without permission, do not swim with others without authorization, do not swim without the guidance of parents or teachers, do not swim in waters without safety facilities and rescue personnel, do not swim in unfamiliar waters, do not go into the water to rescue students who are not familiar with water, know where their children are going, know their companions, know the content and scope of children's activities, and know when children go home.
Through this visit, the safety awareness of parents and students to prevent drowning has been further enhanced, the awareness of parents' guardianship responsibility has been improved, and a solid line of defense has been built for the safety of students.
