Habitually visiting iQiyi, I found that the home page was pushing the new movie "Extreme Agent (2019)" to the VIP, which I thought I had seen, after all, the "Extreme Agent" series is too much. Click in to see it and find out that it is a new film.

Although I am also a professional in the film and television industry, I mainly make non-fiction things, and I am only a consumer for fictional film and television dramas. This "commentary" is not a professional film review, it is only a sense of hindsight.
I don't like to write drama reviews, but since I have read it, it is not much trouble to feel it and write about the feeling of viewing.
Overall, Extreme Agent (2019) is relatively well filmed in the Extreme Agent series of movies. The cinematography, script, and acting are not bad, with a typical Hollywood commercial film style. The cinematographer is quite good, the big shots are beautiful, and the narrative is often ingenious. The plot is one link after another, without any drag, although it is not thrilling, at least it is decent, so that you will not be sleepy when you look.
The tough guy portrayed in the movie is not a brainless pretense, there is flesh and blood, there is just softness
The performances of the three main actors are still in place, and there are not many shortcomings. The male protagonist played by Des Mickelson, the action scenes and emotional scenes show the maturity and competence of the old drama bones. In fact, the whole film is mainly Des Mickelson's main feature, and the two heroines are really just supporting roles.

To say the inadequacy, or the script. Screenwriter Jayson Rothwell seems to be better at telling unit stories, with a weaker grasp of the overall plot. Perhaps the film hopes to focus on the soft side of the tough guy, which is sloppy in the action plot. The usual routine of action movies is the same as the game, first play the little ghost, pass one level after another, and finally duel with the big boss. But "Extreme Agent 2019" played but there was no climax, the main force of the BOSS was tricked into a warehouse by the male protagonist, and in one minute it was destroyed with laser gloves + heavy machine gun regiment, and then the male protagonist went to the enemy's lair to save his girlfriend, and a group of bodyguards who had not yet arrived at the BOSS fled, and finally the male protagonist killed the big BOSS in a few seconds. The ending turned out to be the end of the little two in the valley hut. It really feels like a rotten tail.
