This "Inspiration Garden" was rebuilt from the original Guanlan Jianmei Hardware Products Factory, and was the first foreign-funded cooperative enterprise in the Niuhu area at that time. After the company moved out in 2016, the factory "slept" for 3 years. In December 2019, an upgrading and renovation project "awakened" the abandoned factory and became the current Jianmei Creative Industry Park.

Outside, there are art installations, sculptures and various works of art: the graffiti on the walls has its own characteristics, the sculptures in the corners are cute and cute, and the strong industrial charm and the cultural atmosphere collide with a wonderful "chemical reaction".
Wu Xinjun, the relevant person in charge of the park, and Deng Chunru, a local artist in Longhua, are the "gold diggers" of this old factory. Wu Xinjun introduced, "The original site of Jianmei Hardware Products Factory is located within the scope of Guanlan Cultural Town, 200 meters away from Niuhu Station of Metro Line 4, with convenient transportation. It is surrounded by Guanlan Printmaking Base, Guanlan Redwood Street, etc., with rich cultural and tourism resources, rich cultural atmosphere, excellent industrial environment and clear development orientation. These are all important factors in our choice to develop here. Driven by the common concept, Wu Xinjun is responsible for industrial operations, Deng Chunru is responsible for design positioning, and the two work together to "rekindle and upgrade" the old plant.
Wu Xinjun and Deng Chunru paid attention to practicality, while also retaining the vicissitudes of industrial heritage. Deng Chunru said: "The park spent a year 'renovating the old with the old', and the overall architectural pattern and shape inherited the characteristics of the old factory building, adding graffiti, sculptures, green plants and local creative design on the basis of retaining the original architectural style. For example, the overall building of the old factory remains unchanged, and in the design of the windows, we use irregular geometric shapes to add interest and story to the park, and for the original abandoned ice rink, we give it a new concept, with the concept of 'nature, LOHAS', and digitalization as the support, to make it a platform for practicing life aesthetics and integrating and co-creating and sharing at the intersection of celebrity activities, reading clubs, live broadcasts and other activities. ”
The current Jianmei is called Jianmei Creative Industry Park. In 2020, Jianmei Cultural and Creative Industry Park was selected as the second batch of cultural and creative industry parks in Longhua District after the review and publicity organized by the Longhua District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau.
