At the same time, Zhu Jiatao, senior analyst at Canalys, pointed out: "The production and supply issues of the Mate 60 series are gradually being resolved, which has become a key factor driving Huawei's overall growth. In addition, Huawei is gradually expanding the HarmonyOS ecosystem to become the third largest operating system for smartphones and other edge computing devices in the Chinese market, which is expected to change the duopoly of Android and iOS.
On the other hand, OPPO is in second place with a strong performance in the Reno 11 series, maintaining a market share of 16% despite a 14% year-on-year decline in shipments to 10.9 million units. It was followed by Honor and Vivo with market shares of 16% and 15%, respectively, with shipments of 10.6 million and 10.3 million units, respectively. Apple, on the other hand, fell the most among the top five manufacturers, with shipments down 25% year-on-year, ranking fifth with only 10 million units shipped.
In addition, it is believed that with the full distribution of the Huawei Pura 70 series and the subsequent release of the Mate 70 series, Huawei's mobile phone shipments will make progress with other manufacturers.
