Primary and secondary schools in Singapore start in the spring of each year. As soon as my grandson passed New Year's Day this year, he was promoted to elementary school, and the school started to arrange classes half a year ago.

Before the start of the school year, the school informed parents that their children who were about to enter school and asked them to give each child two yuan. In the morning, the school teacher and the child first familiarized, at noon to bring the child into the student cafeteria, let the child according to their own living habits, at will, my grandson bought a bread, a salad fruits and vegetables, an egg and a bottle of mineral water, listen to him, some people just buy drinks and ice cream. According to the school, this is actually an assessment of students, including children's habits and self-control, so as to provide targeted education and help to students in the future.

Schools in Singapore are very relaxed about the learning life of new students, and children also enjoy school activities. Going to work at 7:30 in the morning, after two classes, it is breakfast time, and students can freely choose meals in the cafeteria, in fact, the school's intention is to cultivate personal good living habits and self-control ability from an early age, and learn to use money by themselves. After all, the children are too young and ignorant, and they buy things indiscriminately every day, and in the end, they go hungry and educate themselves.

At this time, the teacher told them that now the students can laugh and chat with each other, and at the same time take out the snacks they brought from home and chat while eating, and the children feel very relaxed.

School ended at one o'clock in the afternoon. Our home is not far or close to the school. Take the bus, you have to walk half a stop, take a bus and then walk half a stop to get to school, simply we take the children to walk to school, the right to exercise in the morning, the key is that the weather in Singapore is very hot, and the humidity is high, just send the children to school this trip down, is already sweating.

The Bukit Panjang Primary School, where my youngest grandson attended, is a prestigious school in the area. Entering this school is a place that I obtained after a lot of hard work.

In Singapore, parents who want to let their children enter public high-quality kindergartens or primary schools, in addition to living in this jurisdiction, also depends on your parents' voluntary labor in the area, they call it volunteers, the so-called volunteers are to help the community do a lot of public welfare work, organize community activities, decorate the streets on major festivals, and cooperate with the government to carry out work, such as voluntary participation in vaccination, nucleic acid testing, etc. during the epidemic. This kind of voluntary labor is really not paid a penny, and even the mineral water to drink is prepared by yourself. The more you volunteer, the higher your points, and the priority your children will have when they go to school and enter nursery. Otherwise, you can only study in private schools, of course, the teaching quality of private schools is also very high, but the tuition fees are slightly higher. There is no such thing as sponsorship fees here, and there is no violation of the principle of fairness and justice such as trusting relationships through the back door.
