At 19:15 on April 25, the water level of the Sanheba Hydrological Station on the main stream of the Hanjiang River in Guangdong rose to 42.02 meters, exceeding the warning water level (42.00 meters) by 0.02 meters, according to the Ministry of Water Resources's "Regulations on the Numbering of Major River Floods in the Country", the number is "Hanjiang River Flood No. 2 in 2024". According to the forecast, the Hanjiang River will have a flood peak water level of about 2.0 meters above the alarm at around 5 o'clock on April 26.
At the same time, in the Beijiang Basin, at 20 o'clock on April 25, the water level of Yingde (5) Station (Yingcheng Town, Yingde City, Qingyuan), the main stream of the Beijiang River, rose to 25.84 meters. It is expected that the Yingde (5) station will have a flood peak water level of 29.0 meters (warning water level of 26 meters) at 14 o'clock on the 26th, exceeding the warning of 3.0 meters.
At 20 o'clock on April 25, the water level of Shijiao Station (Shijiao Town, Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City) rose to 6.30 meters and the corresponding flow was 9,010 cubic meters per second, and it is expected that the peak flow of 12,000 cubic meters per second may occur at Shijiao Station in the early morning of April 27, reaching the numbered flood standard.
