In order to promote the in-depth exchanges, exchanges and integration of all ethnic groups, work together in unity, and prosper and develop together, Panzhou City recently held a four-day series of activities of "Flowers and Wumeng Music" in the Wumeng Prairie Native Folk Song Music Gathering Series.
With the strong support of the Guizhou Musicians Association, the Liupanshui Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the Liupanshui Municipal Religious Affairs Committee, well-known folk singers from Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, Chongqing Municipality and other places were invited to the Wumeng Prairie to sing characteristic folk songs.
At the same time, the Yi Bimo culture, Yi ancient songs, ethnic characteristics of marriage customs, original ecological songs, seahorse dance, bullfighting dance, costumes, embroidery, batik and other intangible cultural heritage and living display special performances, profoundly demonstrated the rich and colorful intangible cultural heritage achievements of Panzhou City.
During the event, a bonfire was also arranged every evening. Compatriots of all ethnic groups in Panzhou City held hands with tourists at the scene, danced the Yi Nationality Dance around the bonfire, and the bursts of cheers and shouts pushed the party to a climax again and again. In the comprehensive exchanges and interactions between actors and tourists, folk artists and audiences in various provinces and regions, the ideas of mutual understanding, mutual respect, mutual tolerance, mutual appreciation, mutual learning and mutual help between various ethnic groups have also been profoundly reflected, effectively promoting the development of agriculture, culture and tourism in Panzhou City.
